Q: Do these get balls on them as you wash them?

A: Hi BreAnna, Thank you for your reaching out. Linen is a natural fiber, and generally, it may form some lint or fuzz (similar to "balls") over time with repeated washing. However, Casaluna™ 100% linen sheet set is usually well - made. If you wash them properly, you might notice some loose fibers coming off in the initial few washes, but that's normal for linen. As you continue to use and wash the sheets, a small amount of pilling could occur, but it often adds to the "lived - in" and cozy look of linen.

Q: Are these sheets washed? I purchased the "100% washed linen solid sheet set" from Casaluna a few years ago, but I see that there is no mention of these being washed.

Unpacked the box, washed the sheets, made the bed. After just one wash, they came out of the dryer perfectly linen soft! I have a set of sheets 50/50 linen cotton and the difference between those and 100% linen is remarkable. If you like the "rough" softness of linen, you'll love these sheets. Target has them at a decent price too!

I’ve bought these 3 times and loved them . This time they’re a different shade and material not the same Catalina sheets I used to buy I’m not sure what’s changed but I’m upset. I wanna return them but won’t. They don’t even match the matching blanket

I’m confused. These are supposed to be comfortable?? I ripped them off in the middle of the night because I couldn’t sleep on them a minute longer. They were rough and scratchy. I would use these for a tablecloth, not bed.

These sheets are horrible!! my first thought after unwrapping them was that they were very scratchy, but if I wash them, they would soften up,WRONG!!! Not only did I wash them once, three times and still feel like sandpaper! I would not waste your money, you will be returning them.

My daughter had these sheets, but I was somewhat apprehensive. Then when I quickly needed clean sheets, I took her clean Casaluna linen sheets from the closet, put them on my bed and suprised myself at how much I enjoyed them. I liked them so much that I bought a sheet set for myself. They feel comforting, inviting, and enveloping. I'm so glad that I've discovered them!

I bought these 100% Linen sheets 3 years ago. (They were 179.00 then for queen.) Linen is supposed to last a long time. This was a big spend for me, but I assumed they would be well worth it. 3 years later, after meticulously caring for these sheets, they have thinned so much, a huge hole appears on my fitted sheet. These have been lightly used and again, well cared for. I wish Target would step up and would make this purchase right, but I am sure after 3 years, I will never get compensated for these shoddy "linen" sheets.

These sheets are pricy for a Target buy, but compared to other 100% linen brands, this is a STEAL! I live in the desert, and it rarely drops below 95 in the dead of night during our summers. Cool materials for bedding are ESSENTIAL! I bought Casaluna’s (now retired) 100% supima cotton percale sheets for years. Those were also super cooling and felt amazing on my skin. But when I saw Casaluna also makes 100% linen, I had to try it. The sheets are NOT gorgeous. They’re linen. They wrinkle (although they DO smooth out a bit after a couple nights). Also, these sheets have an awkward hem that looks unfinished. If you’re particular about how your bedding LOOKS, these probably aren’t for you. But if you want soft linen for cooler sleep, and don’t want to pay high end prices, give these a try! The natural color in the linen is slightly different from Casaluna’s natural color in other products. Probably because the material is so different. It still matches the theme in my bedroom, but it does LOOK a little rougher than their other natural products. I do want to point out these are the 100% linen sheets - not the linen BLEND. Some stores do not sell the 100% linen, so if you’re looking for 100% linen, don’t buy the blend.

These sheets are soft and cool. But still keep you as warm as cotton. Thry dry fast on a low dryer setting. Do not use fabric softener or Regular Type Enzyme Laundry detergents as they can damage the fabric. Avoid excessive agitation in washer or using dryer balls. I'll be buying another set. I bought the light Adobe color and its portrayed accurately in the photos for the products listing.
