GCI Outdoor FirePit Rocker Low-Profile Foldable Rocking Camp Chair - Pewter

Super comfortable and low to the ground for a campfire

Our daughter plays upper level travel softball so we spend a lot of time watching softball games. I have a couple of different standard size GCI rockers, they're all great but I wanted to try the shorter FirePit rocker because I noticed after sitting in the standard size rocker for long periods of time, the backs of my legs would be a little sore from rubbing as I moved around and rocked in the chair. This was especially true if I was wearing shorts. The shorter rocker is what I was looking for as it got the backs of my legs up off the seat of the chair a little more. An extremely tall person probably wouldn't like the FirePit rocker, but then again, the probably wouldn't be rubbing the backs of their legs in the standard size rocker. I haven't found that the FirePit rocker actually saves much room when folded in our wagon, but saving space was not the reason for this purchase.

It is expensive for me to buy, so I wait unit black friday to grab two. It is worth the money spent, even if it not a black friday deal.

This chair lasted me approximately 2 years and then the fabric tore. It was nice while it lasted

My husband loves his original rocker chair from GCI. I'm short, 5'2" and it was always too tall for me. The fire pit is the perfect height. These chairs are so comfortable. My husband keeps stealing my fire pit , as he also likes the lower seat. We set up both chairs and 4 out 5 people preferred the fire pit rocker. I've gotten a out a dozen people loving and to buy thos chair!

I LOVE the lower height of these chairs. I wish they came in more colors

Decent chair. Front cross bars make it slightly uncomfortable for long periods of sitting. We use these for our daughter's softball games. Needed oil out of the box to stop them from squeaking. I dont mind them but I also wouldn't buy them again.

These chairs are comfy and well made. You sit low and closer to the fire ring. Super comfy with rocking action. A little on the heavy side but a small price to pay for good quality.

It sits lower than the normal rocker, but still great

I’m sick of beach and camping chairs busting on me. I’m a big dude (270lbs) and not only am I comfortable in this chair, but it is built so sturdy! They are a little heavier, but worth the extra weight. I bought these specifically for my kids to take to their club swimming meets and they love them too.

As a larger person, it holds and handles well. Very comfortable, I wish there were a way to lock the suspension at one point. Because having to stabilize it myself is not my favorite.

Wish it sat up a bit higher, but it’s a campfire chair!

I purchased the taller version of this and returned it as it was an awkward height for me and was it comfortable. This one is so much better and I love it. The only thing I am unhappy with is the color. Online it looks like a grey/blue/greenish color. In person it is forest green which I don't like. Had I known I would have chose another color.

Talk about taking a load off? Got this while at a week of summer camp with our BSA troop and it completely changed camp life- naps, paperwork, snacks, everything was made better having this little chair there! While it’s too heavy for backpacking, it’s not cumbersome for a short walk to the other side of camp, where it sets up and is ready in seconds. It was so good that one of the other leaders with me ordered one after trying mine!

This is the most comfortable camp chair we have gotten. This one sits just a little lower than freestyle rocker which for us was a lot more comfortable.

Comfortable and good quality. Seems to be made well. Great deal for the price.

It’s a great chair, but unfortunately it’s to low. Hard for me to get in (almost fall into it) and hard to get out. I’m a disabled veteran and it doesn’t work that well for me. I should have purchased a taller chair. Otherwise it’s a great chair.
