Offputing
Took one bite and the whole filling came out BN like a meatball. The chicken one is so much better

Not terrible
It’s not terrible. The bun itself is soft and tasty. However, the beef filling is pretty dry and does not taste similar to any bao buns I ever had. It more so reminds me of ground taco meat with taco seasoning. You can also compare it to sambosa with more flavor. Good luck!

not very good
I had high hopes for these and they just didn't reach them. Very dry on the inside and the clump of meat that is in it just isn't great. Would not buy again and probably wont finish them

yucky
if i could give zero stars i would. borderline inedible. hard dry meatball on the inside. you’re better off eating a can of cumin and a hawaiian roll.

Not good.
Really bad. The meat tastes like really cheap taco meat.

Dry.
DRY! Omg, inside the bun is a dry hard meatball. Taste is a bit weird. I nearly choked over how dry. Followed the directions perfectly. Even tried wrapping them in a wet papertowel before going in the microwave. Also tried steaming.

Imposter Syndrome
Laoban Dumplings' Frozen Bao Buns Spicy Beef taste like someone handed a bao recipe to a burger-loving American and said, "Have fun!" It’s basically a beef patty tucked inside a dinner roll that’s cosplaying as a bao bun. I’m sorry to say, don’t expect a traditional bao experience.

Not the best...
The center is basically a hard, dry, super small meat patty. The taste wasn't that bad but I will stick with other brands.

Like a meatball
The center is like a hard meatball. The flavor is decent but it’s the texture for me. Also, the bun isn’t on a little paper so when you pick it up the bottom stays stuck to the plate.

Never again.
Terrible flavor and texture. Reminds me of ballpark tamales. The meat inside is a ball of cumin with a hint of beef. If you're looking for an alternative to wow you're going to be so disappointed.

Disappointing
These are like taco-seasoned meatballs wrapped in a dry dough. Absolutely nothing like the picture (they leak juice out the bottom somehow, even being so dry, but I don’t know what fantasy food stylist they hired).

No so good...
Heated bao according to package, first bite was all dough no filling which wasn’t bad it had steamed well but the filling was another story… filling was cooked but hard and it tasted like frozen taquito beef instead of asian flavors, which I was expecting

Bad tasting meat
They don’t like the picture at all. It’s basically a lump of badly flavored meat. The bun itself is okay but these were honestly awful. I’ll be throwing them away and I never waste food.

Cumin balls
It tastes like they accidentally dumped a whole tub of cumin, if that strong flavor was toned down they would have tasted much better and I’m not a picky eater but this was really overpowering

Gross
The bun itself is good, but the meat inside is disgusting. It's one giant ball of beef and it tastes like taco meat. I ate the bun part and skipped the meat. I won't buy these again either.
