Q: does anyone have a 2024 mazda cx-5 and does this fit?

A: I'm using this in a 2019 cx-5 and it fits fine. I think 2024 should be similar. Currently using it rear facing so there's limited space for the person sitting in the front. My wife is 5'2" and it tight up front. Hopefully when we switch to front facing is when there's more space for the front seat to slide back. The cx-5 cabin is on the smaller side

A: Not really. Same situation here. The seat that is in front of the car seat has to be pushed pretty far forward in our CRV. I don’t mind sitting in front of it at 5’5” but it wouldn’t be great for taller people

I loved the idea of this seat. the 360 feature with the non flame retardant/cleartex fabric was a seller for me. I had the revolve 360 carseat and honestly loved it. but i went down my nontoxic rabbit hole and wanted this fabric! we got a chicco cleartex myfit but it was hard to wrestle my less than helpful toddler in it. as mentioned before by another reviewer I do think chicco tried to rush this model to compete with all the other 360 seats on the market. I wanted a nuna but couldn't justify the price especially since the specs for using it rear facing and even forward facing were so low. so when this came out I Jumped on it since we loved our other chiccos! very shortly after I noticed the look into place indicators weren't catching. i cleaned the track and base per customer services recommendations and it didn't help. eventually they sent me a new seat which I hesitantly accepted and now it is again having issues with the key which is used to remove the base not popping back out. sometimes it sticks and won't let me rotate it. it is such a shame because i really loved the placement of the rotator handles. the ease of allowing her to be either forward or rear facing depending on our needs and the fabric! having a spot to put the side straps out of the way to make it easier to put my daughter into it! now I see it's being clearanced out. i am wondering if they got a new model to work out the "bugs" if they do i will be requesting to new model as this is honestly just insane!

This car seat is sooo easy to use and install! The rotating feature is so convenient for my wiggly, 99th percentile toddler. The one handed turn is intuitive and smooth. (I find the turn mechanism much easier on the Chicco than on the Evenflo Revolve.) The straps are easy to tighten and loosen and I love that the crotch buckle stays forward. I do find the magnetic buckle bulky, but I’ve never had issues with it as some other reviews mention. The adjustable headrest/ no rethread hardness is convenient and doesn’t slide down when I tighten the straps, which was a problem I had with our infant seat. The seatbelt install is so simple and easy to get perfect every time. I’ve used friends’ and family’s seats on occasion and they are so much more cumbersome and tricky to install. While the key system makes it a little more difficult to uninstall (having a 2nd person is definitely helpful but I can hold the key in with my knee while I use my hands on the latches) overall I appreciate the sturdiness. The Evenflo Revolve feels like it can pop off too easily for my liking. I also find this so much easier to install securely than the Evenflo. And while comparing to the Evenflo, it seems like the Evenflo seat is wobbly on the base. This feels totally tight and secure. No wobbles! The only con in my experience so far (used about a year) is the lower rear facing weight limit. Rotating seats are so perfect for extended rear facing, so I’m bummed it isn’t an option on this seat.

Sturdy, easy to install, sleek and comfortable. Baby LOVES car rides, head is well protected, magnetic clip NOT loose and probably the best purchase I’ve made in a long time. Owned them exactly one year today. The magnetic chest clip malfunctions. I have 2 of these car seats (bought for toddler and newborn). The first lasted a month before the chest clip stopped working, they sent a new one. It is now doing the same thing. My other baby has been in their seat for 2 months and I the chest clip malfunction in both it would clip shut and then it randomly wouldn’t open so I had to pull my baby out the top of the straps. My toddler can also I clip the chest clips. The part that locks the seat in (orange handle) CAN BE OPENED BY A TODDLERS FOOT!!!! I just called them and they offered a non magnetic replacement (the one that’s on the chicco one fit). For the price I’m very unhappy that it has malfunctioned multiple times and now the new chest clips will look strange with the seat. This has been an anxiety filled experience. I don’t trust these seats. If I could afford to replace them, I would. Hopefully these new chest clips solve the problem. The 360 Idea is nice. But to me, they RUSHED to add a 360 car seat to the market like their competitors and now safety has been compromised. The only pros to the car seat are easy installation and the 360 feature. These seats need to be RECALLED.

Comfortable and easy to use, easy to install. One handed rotation is convenient. Also like that it clicks in position sideways so it gives stability for you to strap your kiddo in. My baby is tall and heavy and in the nuna if he would resist he would move the seat and I’d have to rotate it back. Only downside is I don’t like the button for the tension strap release. You really have to put effort to push it in to release the straps. Either way- I highly recommend

We have tried quite a few different car seats and this one has been our favorite! It is such an easy install with the belt lock off base. We love the convenience of being able to spin the car seat to get our daughter in and out. Our daughter is comfortable and happy in this seat. Love the added bonus of being able to connect the mirror to the base!

This review has nothing to do with the product, but with the pricing. It was very frustrating that when I scanned this product at the register said $399, but when I scanned it with the app said $303.99. The chest harness malfunctions. It's magnetic system just pops apart half of the time, and the release button started sticking so that you can't even latch it. We have only had this carseat in use for a month.

After a month or two of use, the chest clip was able to open without pressing down on the buttons. Now after 9 months of use, the car seat will not always lock when rotated into lock position. We use it properly and baby does not eat or drink in the seat. We have stopped using it and didn’t even get a full year’s use out of it. We’ve had other rotating car seats with zero problems. I’ll definitely be hesitant to buy Chicco again.

We bought this car seat cause it’s chicco we thought it was a good brand the installation was super easy, however after a month of using it the magnetic chest clip won’t clip anymore it broke so we have to throw it away and buy a different one. Don’t recommend.
