colorFX by imPRESS - No Glue Press-On Nails - Hidden Gem - 30ct: Short, Oval, Vegan, Gloss Finish

These are bonkers. I put them on expecting them to come off after a couple of days because that's what they normally do and I don't normally wear press on nails anyway. but this is the first time buying this brand and it was cheap. I put them on when I was in a meeting because sometimes keeping my hands busy helps me focus and I fully expected them to fall off in a day or two just like I normally like, cuz I don't like usually having long-term commitments to nails, that's why I won't do acrylics . that being said that was two flipping weeks ago!! These were fantastic for achieving a Russian manicure look because they are angled in a way where they slide right under your cuticle so if you've trimmed them back nicely it looks stunning. I got multiple compliments a day on the color. But you know what's pretty cool? it doesn't matter what color you buy because they hold regular Lacquer nail polish perfectly. I wanted to have them off so I could try a nail polish that arrived that I had ordered and they were on like they were never going anywhere ever again, so I tried painting one of the spare nails and you don't even need to buff them. I did one buffed and one without and the result was Flawless either way . so notice my pictures are of a different color that's because they're from when I painted it but you can also see if you look really really closely the little bit of the red border . I open soda cans with this, play with toddlers type all day take my dog for a walk carry my dog make the bed do the dishes literally all of the things - I am very hard on my hands it's one of the reasons I don't usually have nails - and not only have these lasted throughout, they've kind of changed my mind about having these more these more often. I've only gotten acrylics three times in my life and all were for weddings and I could not wait to get them off I hated having them on my hand. These feel fantastic and I know are much easier to remove once I get to that point and find out how to do it! I have literally never removed fake nails before because they've always popped off within a couple of days which was my expectation with this The only thing I don't like is I bought the oval and I'm realizing I either need to buy medium instead of short or buy squoval due to my own nail shape and that was my mistake not the way that they were made. but the solution to that was just me needing to trim the corners of my nails in a strange way. I found a picture of earlier when I had them and you could see I had not figured out the trimming them thing yet but you can see a hint of the red. But I absolutely love these and I now consider myself a convert.

I never write reviews, but these nails were worth it! I’m always looking for a cheap alternative to going to the nail salon. I have tried all the major glue-on nails, but these press ons surpassed all my expectations and blew the glue-ons out of the water. It took me about 15 mins to size and apply them. I wore them for a week and they were not budging. I only took them off to replace them with the blue set. I tied 45 balloons with them on (for a balloon arch lol), and they were totally sturdy. Things that I did that I think help them stick on stronger: I trimmed my nails down to as short as possible. Less area = less possibility for them to lift up. I used a nail buffer over the surface of my nails before using the alcohol wipe. I pressed the nails firmly for 10-15 seconds each, focusing on the edges and the cuticle area. Give them a try!

This nails have been on for 2 weeks!! I’ve been rough with my nails and they have yet to come off. One of the top coats is starting to peel (the shiny part), but otherwise these are the sturdiest press ins I’ve gotten so far.
