My daughter received this as a gift, and the zipper on the backpack broke right away. She’s devastated… but it’s too expensive to rebuy another one. Cheaply made!! It’s true what the reviews say it will brake within the months…

Cute bag, but overpriced & poorly made
I strongly advise against purchasing this backpack due to its subpar construction. This backpack is already exhibiting signs of wear at the seams and the zipper has malfunctioned. The backpack was purchased in August and has been in use by my kindergartner for the past 2 1/2 weeks, commencing in September. The price of this backpack is exorbitant considering its cheaply made design.

Cute, but might not hold up
My daughter loved the hello kitty that was in the store, but wanted a matching lunch box so we looked online. She was excited for the My Melody design so we ordered it. It's cute, but I am worried about it holding up. The bonus items were zipped inside the backpack, but the zipper had split open on its own in shipping. I thought about returning it right then, but I was able to get it aligned. The good -Super cute -Authentic Sanrio product as far as I can tell -Large enough for a binder (I've had this issue from target before) The Bad -5 items are not really 5. It comes with the backpack, lunch box, pencil case, trinket and hook for the pencil case. I'm suprised they didn't count the tether for the trinket as well -The zipper split open, but I was able to get it back together -There is no divider inside the backpack for a laptop or binder and the outside pocket it really small and useless -By far my biggest complaint is that the lunchbox is half the standard size. It wouldn't fit a sandwich. there are no pouches or pockets inside or out and nowhere for a waterbottle. A similar Hello Kitty backpack and much better quality lunchbox were $25 at the store, so I wouldn't recommend this for the price.
