Use the tips & visuals in this guide to make taking your child's body measurements easy-peasy.

Dont have a fabric tape measure? Use a shoelace or pant leg to measure. Then, lay it flat & use a ruler or tape measure to get a numerical measurement.

How to measure

  • Height

    Have your child stand in front of the fridge.Mark the top of the head with a magnet. Measure a straight line from floor to magnet.

  • Chest

    Have your child make airplane arms. Wrap tape measure around the fullest part of the chest, keeping it level & snug.

  • Waist

    With your child bending to one side, measure the point where the waist flexes naturally. Keep the tape level & comfortably loose.

  • Hip

    Have your child stand like a tall tree with feet together. Measure a level line around the fullest part of the hips & seat.

  • Inseam

    Take a pair of pants that fit your child well. Measure along the seam from crotch to leg opening.

I got a size S/P 4-6x, which fits perfectly on him, for reference he is 6 years old and kind of skinny. The material is kind of thin, only a little thick on both shoulder areas, which is great to wear inside the school. The weather is the warmest Halloween that I have ever seen in New York (2024), this costume is perfect. It came in with a one piece jumpsuit, close in the back with a zip. While the school requires the costume to be easy for them to use the toilet alone, I changed the jumpsuit into two pieces, it is still stunning and my son has a lot of compliments in the school and on the street. Some bigger kids even scream that they see a walking Minecraft. My son loves it so much and asked me to save it for next year and he still wants to wear it. Highly recommend it to those who are Minecraft fans.

Great costume

Great for Roblox fan!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this Roblox B MC WardenDLX costume in exchange for honest review. This costume is really cute, however for the cost I felt it was a little on the flimsy side. The mask came in three pieces it’s made of plastic and the body is made of a thinner material on the bottom and top is a thicker boxy material. The fit was definitely on point for 6-7 yr old and my son found it to be comfortable. He did find it a bit hard to see out of the mask.

Very Stretchy! Looks great!

As you can see it fits her because the material stretches pretty well. I’m going to add a black tutu to it so she can wear it for Halloween. I thought I would have to give it away but she loves it!

Love it!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son LOVES Minecraft, and I mean HE LOVES IT. We have bought him this exact brand of Minecraft costumes for the last 3 years for Halloween. First, he was a Minecraft Skeleton. Then, he was a Minecraft Ender Dragon. Last, he was a Minecraft Zombie Pigman. This year, he was going to be a Minecraft Creeper, but the Warden is way cooler! He is super stoked about this costume! My only complaint is that the masks on these aren't made the best, hence the 4 stars instead of 5 stars! The eye holes are too wide, making it hard to actually see with it on, but he just raises it while walking around and pulls it down before knocking on the door! He has worn this same size, SM 4-6, each time. The first year, he was 4, so it ran really long on him, we just tapered it up some. Second year he was 5, it was still quite big on him, so again we tapered it up some. Last year, it fit much better just a bit long but we didn't have to taper it up.. He hasn't grown much since last year so I know this size will fit him again this year, which he will turn 7 just 4 days before Halloween.

5 year of loves it

The stitching is strong and it is easy to wipe clean which I am so happy with because we all know five year olds are hard on things.

Outfit good, mask not great

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The outfit part fit my 5 year old well with some room to grow. The mask is a square piece of plastic with an elastic strap. It does not fit his head well. It sits at the end of his nose and he can barely see anything out the eye holes. I probably wouldn't let him wear it for fear he would fall because he can't see.

Best Costume
