    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Had a birthday cake and cake pops to do so I decided to give this Vanilla Bean Paste a try. Comes in a good sized dark glass bottle that will be great for storing. I used the exact amount as I normally would use when I use extract. This vanilla bean paste quality is superb! Really made the difference in my homemade buttercream icing! Everyone loved it!

    Very thin and runny

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have never used a vanilla paste before, but I've seen people use it in recipe videos. I used this paste in a chocolate Chia seed pudding recipe, about 2tsp worth. I really don't get much vanilla flavor payoff from this. It's also quite a bit more runny than pastes I've seen online. There look to be a ton of vanilla seeds in it though. I haven't tried it straight to see if it's vanilla flavor is potent or not. I'll have to try it in a baked item to see if the flavor comes out more once cooked.

The sweet vanilla bean aroma is incredible. The packaging is easy to open and close. It is super concentrated so a little goes a long way.

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product for free for my honest review. I had seen Vanilla Bean Paste, but I had never used it before. The vanilla had a strong, pleasant aroma. The flavor is also pleasant and did not have the alcohol taste that many liquid vanillas have. The consistency is not what I would consider paste, but slightly thicker than liquid vanilla. A nice addition to your baked goods.

    I bought this vanilla paste about a year ago and it worked well but today when I went to use it it was completely crusted over and dried out, the expiration date is still 3 months away and I am very dissatisfied for how much it cost

    Thank you for reaching out and using our Rodelle Vanilla Paste. The product, similar to a honey, can crystalize due to the sugar in it. If you would like to send me your address, I would be happy to send you a replacement jar. We are glad it worked well for you till now. I would advise that once opened, you always seal the replacement product well and try and shake it occasionally, even if you are not using it to prevent this from happening again. Unfortunately, Best By dates actually only apply till a bottle is opened. Once opened a product is exposed to various environments in different homes and so it is not something a manufacturer can control. But I am happy to work with you to make sure you are satisfied with our product. Again, please send me your address. If you would please tell me the best by date of the bottle I would appreciate it.     My bottle arrived with lots of paste dried around the rim/lid. It seems that much of the product was wasted due to this since there was only 2 oz to begin with. I did love seeing the vanilla specks in my frosting though.

    I love to bake for friends, family, and my local fire department. Because I want everything to taste great, I would not use anything other than Rodelle Vanilla Paste. When I see all the specks of a real vanilla bean in my frosting I know I'm using the very best there is. You have all the richness and flavor of a vanilla bean without having to scrape a vanilla bean. It's much easier opening the lid and measuring out the vanilla that you need for your recipe. My cookies, cakes, and cupcakes are very rich tasting, due to the Rodelle Vanilla Paste. All their products are great.

    I originally go this to use in Crème Brulee and have found that it's use in any "mostly flavorless other than vanilla" baked good is PERFECT. Shortbread is more flavorful, icings taste richer, and of course, custards are divine. Elevates baked goods beautifully.
