These shoes are great if you work in a slippery field.

While this shoe is very classy looking and they absolutely need/deserve polishing to make them look their best these shoes aren't comfortable even with aftermarket insoles, at least for long days on your feet. That being said i have 2 pairs.

Love the shoes but they ripped only after 6 months. I put a lot of hours and miles in them so maybe it’s just me but I got both the brown and black Senators. My brown shoes tore after 4 months, didn’t think much of it. Then two weeks later the SAME tear occurred on my black shoes. Definitely not a coincidence! Great shoes but unless you want to purchase them over and over again I wouldn’t buy them

This is the third pair I've gotten. They're always comfortable and last a long time. This time I'm replacing a pair that lasted over three years and I walk a lot at work.

Comfortable good looking sturdy shoe. Squeaky when walking. Last pair, because I bought the same ones again, were squeaky when walking also. Thought it was just the one pair and not a consistent thing. I was wrong. Will have to search elsewhere moving forward for a similar pair that don't have that squeaky plastic shoe sound when walking.

These shoes are perfect for flight attendants! It does run 1 whole size bigger, I’m usually an 8 1/2 in Men’s but with these shoes a 7 1/2 was perfect. Do appreciate the return & exchange process as I returned & exchanged the shoes twice before landing with 7 1/2.

The shoes perform admirably in the demanding restaurant environment. However, they have some limitations in terms of visual appeal and shine retention over time. For those committed to their work, these shoes certainly fulfill their purpose. It would be wonderful if they showcased a bit more elegance and shine to position themselves as a standout choice in the industry, truly.

I have only worn SFC shoes for the last 20+ years. I have purchased around 50 pairs and, needless to say, I love them. They are not priced the same way as 20 years ago but still the best value out there.

I have used shoes for over 30 years . always buy the non-slip shoes because they are comfortable and do what they say.

I’ve worn these shoes for many years and for the first time I am not comfortable wearing them due their heavy weight and discomfort on my feet and legs. I’d like to return them for a different brand.

I wore these a long time ago in a fast-service auto shop as a service advisor. They are great for combining general shop safety with a professional customer-facing look. The slip resistance is applicable to minor slicks and spills; not suitable for large cleanup though. They were also reasonably resistant to small amounts of oil & other lubricating fluids on the top. They did clean and shine well, but it takes requisite effort; shoes don't sine themselves! Four stars because they don't have ankle support (that might be an issue for anyone who does a lot of walking and lifting/bending) and because mine had a steel toe – that feature seems to have been taken out.

These are my favorite work shoes as a middle school teacher. After I slipped in the cafeteria on spilled juice, I determined I would only wear non-slip shoes to work! I bought Senator shoes in brown and black, and I haven't worn anything else since. Comfortable and functional. Currently buying my 3rd pair of black and 2nd pair of brown. With daily wear, the tread wears out in 1-2 years. Completely happy to replace with the exact same shoe.

A great looking shoe, easy to maintain but within a few months the shoe split.

I loved this pair of shoes. I work as a server, and these were my only work shoes. I wore them for a year before they finally gave out.

The shoe quality doesn't look great. The wide shoes don't fit properly. The laces not good, are very loose and keep opening randomly. Haven't tested the non slip will be waiting till snow and testing it out. Disappointing

Lasted me a very long time and continued to offer excellent comfort throughout the 4 years they held up. Very easy to put on and work all day in plus offer a classy fashionable look at your work place. My boss liked my shoes so much he ordered a pair for himself haha

I bought the shoes 5 months ago. Sole had completely snapped in half across the center of the shoe.

These are very comfortable, but they set off the metal detector! Honestly, what did you guys do, put in a metal plate? It's very disappointing as all the 'random' KCM checks mean I end up having to take them off about 50% off the time. Truly a bummer.

I was walking about 2.5 miles a day commuting to work on busses and trains. I have always had knee pain since I was a teenager. When a shoe would begin to breakdown my knees would start to hurt I was going through shoes about every month and a half. My brother gave me a pair of these from his job. I went nine months before I even felt a tinge of knee pain. The support on these are the absolute best I have every had. I am a customer for life.
