The clumping was very good for cleanup. I did not experience too much dust as I filled the litter box slowly. This is a very effective and good quality litter!

It lasts forever, keeps odor down nomatter if what your using, either the febreeze or unscented, clumps heat at times just ok at other times. It's always sold out though at every grocery store I go to. I'm using it in a litter robot though.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently tried the Fresh Step Heavy Duty Clumping Litter with Febreze Freshness (30 Day Odor Control, 22.5 lb) for my cat and I am pretty happy with it. The first thing I noticed is that when I pour or scoop the litter, there is no cloud of dust at all. That is a huge relief compared to other brands I have used. The clumps form tightly and stay together, which makes scooping quick and easy. For scent, I appreciate that there is no overpowering fragrance. The Febreze freshness gently masks any odors without being too strong or artificial. My house actually stays fresh, even if I forget to scoop the litter box right away. There is a little bit of tracking, and the box is pretty heavy, but having a great clumping litter that is a bit heavier is a fair concession for me. Overall, I am really pleased with how well this litter controls odor, stays low-dust, clumps well, and does not overwhelm with scent. If you are looking for something that truly handles smells and keeps cleanup simple, I would definitely recommend giving it a try.

It has very little dust when I pour into the litter box. I love how well it clumps and locks odor in when my kitty goes potty. It does not track outside the litter box or make a mess. Although this litter controls odor, it sets up like concrete and very difficult to remove from litter box. There is no possible way it would last 30 days, as I remove most of it from the litter box within a week due to the clumping, and need to refill weekly. I will not buy this product again due to this.

I bought this because my litter was out of stock. I was hesitant at first because over types are over powering, but this one had a pleasant smell. Unfortunately, thats the only positive thing I can say about it. Order control was non-existent by the second day and my cats tracker the litter EVERYWHERE! I found chunks of litter on my couch and even in my bed. Never had an issue with my usual brand.

I recently bought this about a week ago and I am already loving it. I was using the fresh step crystals for about 2 years but it tracked everywhere and when you went to sift it around since it absorbs the pee instead of clumping, it was a horrible smell, even if you used the deodorizer powder. This fresh step heavy duty is low tracking and I haven’t smelled anything yet! It still tracks but not as much as the crystals, probably because this is smaller particles. I bet my kitties love it better too because it’s softer on their paws!!
