Covered in sugar granules
These are completely covered in lots of sugar granules, not smooth gummies like other Smartypants. Taste is bad.

Not so smart....
I bought these for my 14 y/o daughter as I take the women’s plus version and love them. I purchased and didn’t have my glasses to read, there’s no iron in these. I know it’s important for teenage girls to either intake iron by diet or vitamins due to menstruation cycles. Then as I continue to read the label, I noticed a misprint. Vitamin D is fat soluble, which means it stores in your fat cells versus water soluble goes through kidneys and into urine if your body has enough. The vitamin D content is much much more than 500IU as stated on the label. If these vitamins truly contain 50mcg Vitamin D, that’s equivalent to 2000 IU. Teenagers can take this amount but it is ideal for less than this, especially since it stores in fat cells. In general, be informed and asked questions before giving your child any vitamins. AND my teen said these taste gross. They’re going in the trash.

Stained tongue and toothbrush
I bought these vitamins for my daughter to try, but she really doesn't like them. She said they're too sweet but taste like medicine at the same time. The worst thing, though, is that they turned her tongue yellow and stained her toothbrush! These were a waste of money.

New formula?
I have been taking Smarty Pants vitamins for as long as I can remember. I started out with the ones made for kids, and once I turned 13, began taking these. They have never really tasted amazing, but you get used to them, and they have really helped my focus and energy levels. They recently changed the formula to include omegas and other vitamins, which I was actually excited to tru. I’m not sure if the omegas are messing my stomach up, but I have been one vitamin each day, and about 15 minutes after, have the worst stomach cramps that last into the morning. I continued taking them to see if my body would get used to them, but alas, I am suffering from a stomachache right now. Please change the formula back to what it was! :(

I've attached the face she made after her first dose, but could not attach the audio of her gagging and retching. It contains necessary vitamins to help support hair, skin, nails, eye, and immune support. These are also allergen free with no synthetic colors. The mango orange flavor is not overwhelming and my daughter really likes it. They are easy to chew and do not get stuck in her teeth. It is great to see my daughter grabbing for these vitamins in the morning without me having to ask her.

So these came just in time to get her started on getting her vitamin intake in. They are pretty good and hide that vitamin taste. You can't get completely away from it but it's tolerable.

Taste good

My picky teen tolerates it

Because shes so active and dowsnt have a complete diet I rely on vitamins to help make up what shes not getting naturally. These were decent she said. But def tasted like vitamins. However we're not the worst tasting vitamins shes had. If given the option, she would continue these over a couple of other brands but still not her first choice based on taste.

Very healthy and variety of vitamins
