Description

The O-Cedar Strong Sweep Broom is a versatile, agile broom uniquely designed for indoor and outdoor messes. The thick black bristles easily handle wet and heavy messes, including leaves and snow, but are gentle enough for hardwood floors. The Strong Sweep broom features 99% sweeping efficiency.* The set also includes O-Cedar’s patented step-on dust pan, which seals to the floor with foot pressure, reducing bending and nearly eliminating dirt lines. The dust pan is built with integrated cleaning combs to help remove debris, and it is hands-free. Clip the dustpan onto the handle for easy storage when you’re finished sweeping.

Q: Does anyone else have trouble hanging the dustpan onto the broom handle when hanging the broom in the hook? Does anyone have trouble using the step in feature of the dustpan? The broom grip not great.

  • A: Hi! To make hanging the dustpan easier, be sure to clip it onto the broom handle close to the bottom of the handle near the bristles. As for the step-on feature, make sure the dustpan is placed flat on the floor and apply light pressure with your foot on the designated step area—this helps the rubber lip seal to the floor for better pickup.     I never had such a strong dislike for a broom before, so much so that I am writing a review. The bristles are so short! I am constantly missing what I am trying to sweep. I have only used a few times so maybe I’ll get used to it but I will probably not even use it anymore to give it a chance.

    I was disappointed with this broom. The handle constantly came unscrewed while I was sweeping, making it frustrating to use. For the price, I expected much better quality. It’s a small plastic broom that doesn’t stay together, and it definitely isn’t worth what I paid. I would not recommend it.
