Why is this on the shelf?!
Awful, would not recommend. Causes a burning that is a thousand times worse than the infection and makes me want to crawl out of my own skin. I wouldn’t even recommend this to an enemy. I’ve birthed two children and healing from that was preferable to this torture. For the love of god get the 7 day so you don’t experience this pain.

No burn!
I read the reviews about it burning and I honestly was almost too scared to try it out. I have only used the suppository and I didn’t feel ANY burning or really notice it at all. Next morning I feel like my symptoms are almost gone! I’ll try out the cream on day 3 if I feel like it’s not completely gone. Glad it worked out without any burning.

I’ve used monistat products in the past and just bought the one day to get it over with. Worst mistake!! Burning, swelling, paaaainnnn was so much worse than the mild symptoms I had from the yeast infection. Ended up getting an rx from telehealth after icing my area all night.

Infection relief
I was desperate to get rid of a yeast infection before I was able to see my Dr. I read many bad reviews, and the “paid” ones I don’t trust. I gave it a go, and infection was gone! I didn’t experience any burning besides what I was already having with the infection. I only used the ovule not the cream, but that’s because I was using Vagisil anti itch cream.

Do not buy!
I know what you are thinking, how can I get rid of this itch and infection fast. This is NOT the answer. This burns and causes more damage than the actual infection. I had to wash off after 30 minutes due to severe burning. I do not know if it was an allergic reaction or the potency of this product, but it made all of my skin down there red, raw, and inflamed.

Use your judgement
I’ve seen a lot of complaining about “bad burning”. Yall, the ovule itself does NOT burn. It’s the cream that comes with it that it tells you to use, but do NOT have to. I do not use the cream that comes with it for itching. I use the ovule only, and you don’t even know it’s there. You put it in with the applicator before bed, and that’s it. You let it dissolve and do its thing. If you’re sensitive, don’t use the itching cream. If you’re miserable and want to take chances, you do you. If you are not sensitive, the itching cream may be okay for you. It’s about YOUR body and skin type. People are making Monistat sound horrible, and it’s not. People I know, including myself, have used it for years. A friend of mine used it when we were in high school 10 years ago, it’s always been the go to!

Unbaised opinion anyone?
Alright so if you’re like me you looked threw the reviews only to see so many of them said “this review was collected as part of a promotion” and to be honest someone most likely being gifted it, can’t be trusted. I have now bought this item twice, and never been disappointed. It starts to kick in several hours after using it and by the following day I feel so much better and it’s almost gone. This time instead of using this right away I made the mistake of going to the doctor and being prescribed fluconazole, which after taking that daily for three days did nothing, only made it worse! That’s when I decided to use this and by that evening I could finally pee and not feel like I had razors cutting me. It’s easy to use but I do wish the applicator would also come wrapped or something to help keep it cleaner. If you want something fast and effective, do yourself a favor and get this!

worst experience of my life - product should be pulled from the market
Landed in urgent care after applying this. I just grabbed this off the shelf because I’ve used OTC products before to resolve yeast infections with some success. This was my first time trying a 1 day and This gave me excruciating pain that is only getting worse - it truly feels like a chemical burn or something. I can hardly walk or even bend down to my dog. I’m 28 and in great health - go to the gym most days, have a very healthy diet, low bmi — so nothing that people might point to as impacting a medication’a ability to “work properly”. This pain is so much worse than the original infection. By 100x easily. The fact that this is even a somewhat common reaction to this medication should disqualify it from being sold. If I had read other peoples reviews I would have steered clear for sure. If there was ever any doubt about the fact that Women’s healthcare is a dumpster fire, this would be compelling evidence. Target please for the love of god take this off your shelf. Cost me 16.99+ 90 for the urgent care visit copay + cost for the medicine the doctor prescribed me from the ER for the infection. do yourself a favor and don’t buy this because it’s not worth the risk.

Ouch :(
I've used Monistat products in the past. I bought the one day to avoid the inconvenience of needing to use this for a few days and well, here I am up at 2 am, 4 hours after insertion, with internal swelling and burning. To say I'm uncomfortable is an understatement.. I feel worse then I did from the slight symptoms I had before hand. Never again.

PLEASE READ!!
This product is advertised to treat yeast infections in 1 day but in my experience it makes them worse. The product is much more concentrated than say a 3 day treatment or antibiotics. That being said, myself and countless other women (on reddit) have experienced CHEMICAL BURNS! Avoid this product if you can and try at home remedies first. Chemical burns on top of a yeast infection is obviously not what we’re looking for when buying a product like this!!
