LEGO Fortnite Peely & Sparkplug’s Camp Building Toy, Easter Basket Gifts for Kids, 77075

I must admit I've been passing this set up for some time now, unsure of whether I'd find its value worthwhile compared to other ~$20 Lego offerings--the box is unusually slim and lightweight, the builds all looked a bit "filler" and uninteresting, and so on. I'm absolutely thrilled to have been so naive. The box really undersells the volume of stuff you get out of this set--the builds use a lot of tiny pieces and occasionally clever techniques to keep you engaged for a surprising while for a set of this size, skimping on no details and amounting to a satisfyingly-accurate representation of fixtures in the Lego Fortnite Odyssey game. I can really appreciate that this isn't a Lego-ified abstraction of real objects from a non-Lego property, but rather 1:1 replicas of Lego items from a Lego video game. I find it cute that this set is already dated in that Odyssey's in-game crafting workstation received a design overhaul since this set released, making this model a neat 'lil time capsule of the game's early aesthetic. The minifigures here are wonderful. The skeleton is overlookable (though still always welcome), but Peely and Sparkplug are beautifully high quality and look great in-hand. They come with plenty of accessories and have enough to do around their campsite. The wolf and llama are fabulous representations of their in-game counterparts, with the llama in particular being especially iconic. They're both perfectly-articulated and enjoyable to build, and they satisfy the "conflict in a box" approach that a lot of relevant sets aim for--play and display alike thrive on the ability to depict recognizable interactions between iconic characters. This set includes Sparkplug's in-game Fortnite skin as a digital freebie, which comes at a ~$10 value on its own, provided Fortnite skins have value to you. Assuming buyers of this set are already Fortnite fans, and that they don't already own the Sparkplug skin, this pack-in alone more than justifies this set's value. This is an overall winner and a strong recommendation to any other buyers on the fence. Kids will love the play value and recognizability, collectors will appreciate the novelty and accessibility of a fresh new license, and Lego enthusiasts as a whole should have a lot to appreciate in this small-but-impressive set. :)

This was a very nice set to build and I enjoyed seeing it come together. There's good playability as it is made to allow kids to move around structures and have them imagine their own scenarios. The wolf looks aggressive (as it should) and is quite posable. The figures and Supply Llama are very well made, too. The set doubles as a nice display piece once the play is over.

this is a great set for people who love Lego and just want a quick build to pass the time it is great value for money and like I said is great fun to build and I definitely recommend this set for you and loved ones

Everyone loves Legos. I purchased this for my grandson and he has kept him busy on and off for a couple days. He loves it.

It was easy enough for her to be able to help with the little pieces. We had a great time. Some of the pieces did come apart easily, but that is to be expected with Legos. These Legos are perfect for older children.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This 250 piece Lego Fortnite piece kept my 12 and 10 year old occupied for over two hours last night so I would say the entertainment value is a 10/10! I didn’t even have to worry about quality control either as the pieces were made with great quality and durability. I do believe that they chose the right age of 7 and up for safety reasons with the small weapons that are included. The girls also loved how many different ways they could set up the pieces!!

I got this set because of Peely, I am building a theme park and have a banana hut, so Peely will be a perfect addition for good storytelling!

I love this set overall!! Nothing really wrong with it in the least! Gives the perfect amount of attention to detail. I play Fortnite a good amount with friends in order to unwind and having these figures and builds next to my setup brings a whole new amount of life! I hope to see more Fortnite sets in the near future or maybe even a CMF line! I personally think that would do very well.

It was easy for him to build alone and assembly with each of the bags was a breeze for him. The pieces snapped together easily and one built had standard Lego durability. Great for any age and safe for 7+.
