It is almost impossible to open the backs of these in order to put pictures in. Rather than twisting the tabs on the back have to be bent. You have to bend the metal tabs completely up.

Love the idea and design of this frame however it seems to be poorly made. It is a little crooked and the welds are not fully together. The first one I ordered came scratched and bent. I received a replacement that was a little better but makes me wonder if it is intended to look asymmetrical. Size of opening for picture is slightly bigger than a 5x7 photo.

Would not buy
As much as I love the look of this frame, it is very hard to open the clips to install the picture. I was concerned I’d slice my fingers. The matt for the picture is slightly off cut so there are slight portions around the picture that aren’t covered. Overall more difficult to try to remove the back and then replace it than is worth it; if I were able to get a picture centered on the matt and put things back in place, I would never want to go through that trouble again to change out a picture. The final straw was that metallic shavings were falling from the metal frame that peel off the tabs as you try to press the tabs in place. Disappointed and will be returning the frame for a refund. Too bad-it looks very stylish but ease of use and quality is not there.

Super cute!
I got this for my sons sonograms. I had to remat them to fit as the pictures were too small. But I layered the mats with the ones it came with and it turned out super cute! It's a little wonky when you line three of them up due to the metal not being symmetrically perfect, but doesn't bother me too much because the frames are pretty and I'm happy with how it turned out :)

Easy to Break
I love Hearth and Hand; however, these frames need improvement. The frame should swivel. The metal piece that holds the frame was broken when I bought it because someone tried to swivel the frame, which caused it to break.

Adorable and great Modern frame!
I wish this frame had a landscape size to complete the set! I really like the gold metal brass with the wood on a pedestal. It blends well with mid century modern design on my bookshelf. Very sturdy. The glass frame does not bend and or rotate, so the angle the sqaure is cant be adjusted to an up or down position but it is very visible and I feel you can see the images well. It has a mat inside that can be used or you can place a slightly larger image to fill the entire frame.

Buyer Beware!
Horrible and disappointing quality! It looks nice online and my first impression unpacking it was good. Unfortunately, a second look revealed the the frame was crooked in the stand and the metal tabs on the back that hold the picture/glass in place are attached and almost impossible to pull back. When you are finally able to get access to the back, gold flakes from the back of the tabs are everywhere. Gold flakes all over your carpet, furniture, hands, clothes, and precious photos. Took me forever to get it all washed off. I had to vacuum twice to get it out of the carpet. This is either going in the trash or back to the store.
