My daughter loved the initial activity of bathing to find out what animal is inside, but once it is washed and out of it's casing, it looks gross and grungy. I wouldn't recommend. A week after getting this, I asked my daughter to get some toys together to donate, and she already picked this as a toy to give away. What a waste.

My daughter loved the surprise aspect of this toy! Watching her wash, dry, and brush the little pet to reveal which one she got was adorable. It does take some patience to dry completely and fluff it up, but that’s part of the fun for her. The final plush is soft and sweet, though smaller than I expected. Overall, a fun interactive toy that kept her entertained and excited to take care of her “rescued” pet. It for shed and hair goes everywhere. So it keeps them busy but also requires a clean up if done in a bathroom.

Would not recommend. Went by the overall rating and wished i'd have taken the time to read reviews. Comes sticky and you have to get it soaked to try and get the residue removed (doesn't fully go away - gross), then you have to blow-dry and it's frankly a pain in the toosh. I'm telling you. AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE. Your child most likely does not want to wait 24 hours for this to fully dry and it's not even that soft, tbh. SKIP IT.

my daughter was extremely happy for this to arrive. we followed instructions and all but the fluff came out worst than a bad hair day.i had to put in dryer. I give it a 2 just because however this cat looks shes having a blast.

If I could give this thing 0 stars I would. The biggest waste of money. Target should be embarrassed that they sell this. $20 to get a stuffy sopping wet and have to throw it in the dryer because no amount of blow drying can dry it out afterward. Do not waste your money.

Great idea but TERRIBLE results! Not worth the money. Spent 5 min trying to fluff it up, then goes back to all matted looking within seconds of playing with it. Gave it 2 stars because my granddaughter for some reason still likes it.

My five-year-old granddaughter loves Scruff a Luvs because she got to give her a bath, and she got to blow dry her hair. She loves the purple collar that came with Scruff a Luvs. She was a little upset because the hair clip won’t stay on, but we figured out how to make it work by adding a hair tie. She loved the certificate of Adoption that came with it.
