  • Bust

    Measure across the fullest part of your bust, keeping tape measure level.

  • Torso

    Run tape measure from the top of your shoulder,between your legs & up again back to where you started.

  • Waist

    Bend slightly to one side. The crease is where your natural waistline is. Measure a comfortably loose, level line around that point.

  • Hip

    Stand with your feet together. Measure a level line around the fullest part of your hips & Seat.

  • Inseam

    Take a pair of pants that fit well. Now measure along the seam from the crotch to the leg opening.

Effortless Style

I like that the dress is simple and elegant. I wore it with a beaded shawl and it was so easy to wear and dress up a bit for evening. I agree with other reviewers that the dress runs a little tight in the bust and a little loose in the waist and hips. I’m a size six and 34B. The XS fit tight in the bust - I didn’t and honestly couldn’t wear a bra because it wouldn’t fit: (I’m fine with letting the dress be my bra.) Size S would be too large in the waist and hips. If it works for your body type, it’s a good wardrobe addition.

Too low cut in the back so you can't wear a normal bra. There's a seam that goes across the bust instead of underneath, as though they didn't scale up the bust when sizing up the dress. Overall it looks like a fancy nightgown. Terrible construction.

Design not ideal

I have a very similar version of this dress in their midi-length, size small, and I wear them all the time. I thought I would try the maxi version but when I tried it on the top was a bit snug against my breasts creating a wrinkling. The maxi wasn't the best length on my 5'7" hourglass figure either (36-26-35). I look like I'm wearing a nightgown.

The fabric was gorgeous! The straps are too short causing an odd fit and bunching at the bust. If you’re busty, it’s too tight. The dress was both too big and too small at the same time. The skirt fit larger than true to size and the bust fit smaller than true to size. Such a shame.
