Initially the taste was good but then not so much

I don’t like jerky but I love these. Love that it’s chicken breast so great for fat loss snack. Good clean ingredients.

Honestly, the stick itself is on the stiffer side, and the taste is decent, its definitely edible, but I get the “chicken” ick after a bite or two due to the horrible aftertaste. If they could get rid of that and make it a tad more tender, I think it would be a killer snack.

The macros are excellent. Per ounce, you’re looking at 90 calories for 15 g of protein and no carbs. Now the negatives: 1. It looks like dog chews. The texture is just as weird. 2. It’s expensive for just 2 oz. I can’t justify $3+ per ounce, even with those macros 3. It’s way too salty. One serving has 30% of your DV of sodium. You’re eating 1400 mg of sodium if you eat the entire bag. 4. It has a funky after taste. Sometimes you just taste salt, and other times the red wine vinegar dominates. But the after taste is just unpleasant. 5. It makes my breath stink. I can describe the nastiness that follows eating it. I need to gargle with mouthwash afterwards. It seems to coat my tongue which messes with other food flavors, even after brushing your teeth. I like the concept of it since other poultry jerky is dry and hard, but this isn’t edible or healthy.

I have liked Flocks products in the past, however this was a NO. It is far too salty and that was before I read the sodium content. Much too salty and I do not recommend.

Great concept; I hate that most other poultry sticks use beef collagen. However, this tastes like sipping on soy sauce.

Super tasty option for non-beef jerky for my fiancé who doesn’t eat red meat!

Disgusting wish I could return

Have packed these in my kids lunchboxes and gets them their protein when they don't want deli meats etc... They taste very good too. I recommmend!

Coming from a snacker, I've always loved the heartier beef jerky type of grab and go snacks that are filling, and I love these companies finally progressing from the Slim Jim days into quality products. For me these Flock sticks are better since it's not just all beef, they feel just a bit leaner but also satisfying. Definitely worth the cost to have something that fills me up and makes me feel good.
