    I bought this for my daughter for Christmas because she wanted it so badly solely for the purpose of “painting” its nails. She tried it first thing on Christmas opening after opening it, and it doesn’t work or do anything at all when the nail polish bottle touches the dog’s nails? And I can’t even return it for a replacement to be sent because she obviously tore apart the box when trying to open it (she’s 3).

I gifted this to my niece for her birthday because it came just a few days before her puppy themed party and she was in heaven. It went perfectly with the adopt a puppy party since she got one of the cutest puppies of all. She loves how interactive the puppy was to play with. It talked to her and make interacting fun. Definitely a sweet toy that she’s been playing with a lot!!! The painting nails feature is especially precious!!

    Spa day fun for kids

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter had hours of spa day fun with Disney’s Pampered Pup! It came with quite a few accessories and fun features such as color changing nails and cute noises. She had fun pretending to give her pup a hair cut and adding an adorable bow. She loved “painting” her nails that turned a dark pink. Then it was time to put on her sleeping mask for a relaxing end of day nap with Abby. Overall this is an adorable, fun toy. I do think Abby, who is 7, is on the upper side of the age range that would enjoy this toy. I know two years ago she would have been more enamored by this than she is now. You have to make sure the water is ice cold to get results with the nails changing color and they were changing back to normal by the time she was done painting both paws. A couple more interactive features or accessories would make this toy more suited for the price point it’s at. I would still recommend this toy especially if you have a little one that enjoys playing spa. I received this product complimentary for the purposes of testing.
