I have used Nivea and Chapstick previously and they have been fine but this is the best lip balm I have used by far. It instantly moisturises the lips and gives relief from that yucky, cracked feeling. The feel of the lip balm isn't waxy and doesn't make your lips feels weird for the rest of the day. I was previously applying lip balm 4 times a day, but with Burt's I usually only do it once, maybe twice on bad days and has yielded better results. I highly recommend this product to sufferers of cracked and dry lips as I will be using this as my go to brand moving forwards.

That includes applying it before bed every night, and it’s helped keep my lips from getting chapped from the cold at night. I really like the smell and it feels smooth going on. It also has an overall nice taste, slightly waxy, but not enough to be off-putting. I believe that bit of waxiness seems to help it stay on longer, even when eating or drinking, which I appreciate. The packaging it comes in is also nice with the cute little bees on the sides. I like the additional of the red tab on the seal, made it super easy to open. I already use other Burt’s Bees products and this is another good quality option. I’d be happy to buy it again.

It felt like a lip plumping balm, my lips felt all tingly and hot as soon as I applied it, after a while it went away. The lip balm itself didn't stay on too long after that, whether or not I wiped it or forgot about it being there, it was just not that great.

While I liked the initial moisture and shine I found that it felt like my lips were drying out about a minute later , and dryer then before I applied the product . Would love to see a change in the ingredients to focus on a longer moisture feel

They used to feel quite waxy. This wasn't waxy at all. It went on smoothly, was a nice consistency, felt good and was comfortable. It also didn't bunch up around my mouth after an hours wear. My lips felt soft and hydrated with regular wear. The smell is barely noticeable. Packaging, clean and reliable. I dropped one star as I didn't feel it was ultra nourishing in the very cold weather we've had in the last week... I need something more heavy duty and perhaps thicker to be more protective. Having said that, a great lip balm for warmer weather and general use. Would buy again.

The Ultra Conditioning Moisturising Lip Balm is no exception. It is by no means a premium product, but it is certainly a great choice for the price point. The lip balm had a neutral taste, that wasn’t really noticeable, and had a smooth, but for me, a somewhat slightly oily skin feel. It does however, feel quite hydrating, and I didn’t feel the need to have to re-apply THAT soon after, like I do with other lip balms of comparable price and accessibility. Overall, if I had runout of my usual lip balm, or misplaced it and needed one in a pinch, I would be more than happy to pick up Burt’s Bees Ultra Conditioning Moisturising Lip Balm.
