Smells like cat pee
Worked okay where it worked. Definitely very streaky on my arms and legs. My hands also ended up WAY lighter after putting a thin even layer on my body then washing my hands off as instructed. HOWEVER, the WORST part and the reason why they are getting one star is the horrible cat pee smell. I’ve been trying to figure out the source of this horrible smell cleaned and disinfected and sprayed everything until I realized IM WHAT SMELLS. never using this again because the smell makes the ease and efficiency not nearly worth it. I’d rather spend hours spray tanning and throwing away orange sheets than smell like this ever again.

People need to stop lying lol, this is the WORST self tanner I've ever used, and I've been self-tanning since the earliest forms or Jergans, so I have a low bar. I put this on at night and woke up looking like a disaster. The streaks are SO orange and dark, and there's just giant white patches in random spots that make no sense (middle of my thighs, on my bicep, etc).

Yes, there's no color guard so you need to be careful, but that means no mess on sheets or clothes! I love this stuff, affordable, doesn't fade flaky/patchy, and doesn't irritate my skin like all of the foam tanners. I wish I had a lifetime supply.

I’ve been using the tinted hour foam tanners for a couple years now, but decided to give this a go and I will never go back! My skin is so soft and the tan was on point! No streaks and it dried fast!

Initially refreshing and hydrating, but disappointing overall
The gel felt cool and moisturizing upon application, which I really liked. However, the color payoff was just average and it left behind a strange film that flaked off throughout the following days. As the tan faded, it left a cracked, uneven film on my skin that looked patchy and unnatural. The product also discolored and seemed to go bad—likely due to the clear bottle—even though I stored it in a cool, dry place. I ended up having to toss both a half-used bottle and a brand-new one I got as part of a deal. Disappointed with the shelf life, packaging, and overall finish.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall pretty good and a good color. Easy to apply and dries fairly quickly. I apply before bed and shower In the morning and still have color. Do not plan on storing a brand new bottle for the next season. It turns to straight liquid and you will lose the whole bottle. I just threw an unopened sealed bottle in trash because it was water. It doesn’t fade 100% evenly, either.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] “I received this product free in exchange for my honest review.” This product comes in a plastic container that has a pump. I think the pump was a great idea. As for the packaging I didn’t think it was a good idea to have a clear bottle because it’s so difficult to even see: forget trying to read. As for the product itself is a clear gel that you are suppose to pump apply first to elbows, knees and ankles. Then after one must apply to body a thin layer to get the bronze glow they mention. The biggest issue is the smell; unfortunately the product does have a scent that I personally disliked a lot. I don’t feel it did much as I didn’t get the bronze glow mentioned. It’s not a product that I will repurchase. The smell and the no glow outcome makes it difficult for me to continue using the product.

I feel like it doesn’t smell bad at all and the packaging is easy to use. I do feel like you don’t get as tan as some products but it does give you a nice medium tan.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I followed the directions exactly and used a mitt to blend the gel, but I still ended up with some uneven patches. The color developed slightly orange on me, and I didn’t get the “insanely dark” result I was expecting. The packaging is cute, and the gel formula is unique, but I found it to be quite sticky. It also has a strong tanning scent—I kept catching whiffs of it throughout dinner.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Well then. I’ve put off trying this product for awhile because I was terrified to use it. I’ve never self tanned before so I knew this would be an interesting experiment. I think this product has potential. The color on my legs isn’t Oompa Loompa orange and the parts where i blended it properly are nice and even. It’s streaky though. It would have been nice if it was some kind of color so I could see what I was putting on. Scent wise, I barely noticed anything. The actual packaging is really nice and sturdy. Will I use it again? Probably not. Should I have even gotten it to begin with? Absolutely not. It’s just not for me.
