I have lost connection with the camera and after a week fooling with it trying to get it back online, I have had no success getting it back online. Looking for help on Lorex app has ben of little help.

I recently added this 2k pan-tilt wifi camera to my other Lorex set of cameras. Like all there products they are easy to install and work great. I really like that the camera can pan-tilt to track a subject. And I appreciate that it is 2k, not 1080p. It is a very nice product and the price is competitive.

The privacy feature is its selling point. It's perfect for indoor spaces that you want to monitor when you're not home while preserving your privacy when you are. It's sleek, small and unobtrusive. We have one located in plain view in our main room that goes completely unnoticed by guests when the lens is retracted. Works well with the app, alerting for motion and sound. A big plus is the ethernet port! Please, Lorex, keep the ethernet ports!! My one big complaint and the reason for the one star deduction is that it does not integrate well with the NVR. It will only record on a continuous schedule. It will not record on motion detection like the doorbell or floodlights will. This kills disk space when we're not home. Add this feature and you have the perfect indoor camera! All in all, for the price it's a nice little piece of kit.

It is working well. The only issue I am having, as I am using it as a puppy monitor, is that they don't set off the motion sensor. Otherwise the picture quality and the sight range are great.

The camera was very easy to set up. The position of the camera has been more difficult. Have not learned how to use the Lorex app. Alerts are working. I will need more time to see if the app is me. Hope to add 2 or 3 more cameras in near future. I have an analog system at another location which has been very reliable.
