In pretty much the same lighting as most of the room this camera recoded in color in some areas and black and white in other.s I could see perfectly fine in the area it did black and white and I could have read in that light. Also the live view is behind real time. I took my other camera that is at a similar price point, but different brand and it recoded the same are in color. This camera for these reasons will be returned. I hate returns, but this camera needs to be returned.
