Your recordings are stored in the cloud, not on the device itself. If you have an active Ring Protect Plan subscription, your recordings remain saved in the cloud for up to 180 days by default (though you can customize this storage time from one to 180 days). To set up the Ring camera using a cellular data plan, you will need to insert a SIM card into the camera's SIM card slot. Once the SIM card is inserted, you can connect the camera to a mobile hotspot or a cellular-enabled device using Bluetooth or WiFi Direct. Please note that Ring video doorbells and security cameras are intended to be used with a home wifi network, rather than a mobile device hotspot. Using a hotspot instead of your home wifi network may cause failed setup attempts or cause your Ring device to continually disconnect from wifi. She would need to be near the camera at all times to view it so she would not be able to view the camera from anywhere without home wifi. Reliable!

Audio is wonderful on these, performance is reliable. Setup was easy, the cameras are durable. Video quality is excellent. I use these to keep an eye on my dogs when I am away from home.

It sounds like the device is not performing as expected in regards to audio. Poor wifi can often cause Ring device issues, including capturing audio. We recommend following these steps in the Ring app: Tap the top menu (☰), then Devices. Choose your Ring Indoor Cam (2nd Gen.). Tap "Device Health." Under the "Network" section, you'll see your device's "Signal Strength." If your "Signal Strength" (RSSI) is amber or red, your Ring device likely has a poor connection to your location's wifi. Moving your Wi-Fi router closer to your Ring device may improve its connection. Second set of eyes

Ring is a great security camera brand. This is the first Ring Cam and it works well on my mantle in the living room. The picture and sound are clear. It has two-way communication, and records any and everything in its view. It’s easy to just plug in and place. It gives me peace of mind when I’m away and need to check on my fur babies!

Great camera

My son is autistic so it's nice to have such a fast reliable camera. The motion detector is spot on. The video is very clear. You can talk through the camera or just listen in. I have a few and they mount very easy. The app is very easy to use and you don't have to have a subscription but it offers more options. It is also very affordable.

The only wifi enabled security cam your family wil

I bought an indoor ring cam to watch my pets while I’m away but also for security reasons and it’s a decision I’ve never once had a complaint about. You can set the perimeter to monitor, set notifications, and connect to wifi so you can access the cameras from any where. The installation was quick and easy with clear instructions, and they last for years. I have yet to replace any of my indoor ring cameras and I’ve had them for 6+ years. Definitely worth the value and more.

I really like the rings product they are not expensive as other and has good quality even at night it has a night mode that is very good. I have a doorbell also. And it help me to catch some thieves. Te app works really good. It send notification when people are are you door. Or pass by your home.

Very easy to setup and move around

I love this indoor camera as it is so easy to setup anywhere. Switching its location is also very simple and quick. I personally switch mine between the living room and other areas I want to spotlight if we are out. I also appreciate that there is a physical cover you can close when you need privacy or simply do not want constant movements alerts.

Reliable

If you need an indoor camera and you don’t want to worry about charging the battery, this is for you. I never have to worry about this one disconnecting so it’s great for watching the pets while I’m at work. You can still hang it and it will function even outside!

The best cameras with high quality

Our family only uses ring cameras in and out of our home. The app itself is so navigable and the cameras are always the highest quality. We use this indoor specifically for our labs and can talk to them through the camera whenever we get alerts of movement. Ring cameras are the most reliable and user friendly.

With a little one and a dog, the indoor ring camera is a must! We put this ring camera by our dog’s playpen to watch her while we run errands. Because this camera plugs into the wall, the power is always on. We like that you can easily cover the camera for privacy once we’re home. At night, the video will be infrared and black and white so that you can see motion easier which is most definitely helpful. The app has been user friendly as well as reliable with watching our indoor camera from afar and is something that we check often. I highly recommend for those that have a little one or a pet!

Easy to set up and use.

Ring Indoor stick cam was easy to install and set up. Literally stuck it to the wall, plugged it in, opened Ring app and was viewing my basement in 10 minutes.

The best!

This is the best security camera ever!! I was tired of wasting money on cheap no good suspicious app type knock offs, so i bought this and is so worth it. Easy to set up. Everything function great. The video is easy better quality and it also has sound. It records 24 hrs a day and even sends me notifications telling me what's happening. I can even speak through it. The connectivity works great and even when the internet/wifi is weak it still works. Amazing product!
