Soft and breathable

I love that this is a quilt and not a heavy comforter. I bought this set and the glow in the dark comforter for my 6 year old with the intention of using the comforter during winter and quilt during summer. It’s perfect for that exact purpose. Not too heavy, still warm enough he can have his fan on, and he doesn’t have to worry about not having his superhero themed bedding because of weather changes. It’s so soft compared to most quilts in this price range. I’m really impressed by the entire marvel collection.

Love the look of this, especially the pinstripe detail on the back of the quilt - makes it look like you’ve layered the bed when you fold the top down. I will say, for a quilt, this is on the thinner side, I did have to add another blanket underneath because my child was getting cold at night- but we still love it!

Pros and Cons

The good: the overall design is great. The colors are very neutral and match easily with other decor. If you have a child obsessed with these characters (like mine), they will probably love it. The set washed well and dried well with no issues. The blanket also feels very warm. The bad: the pillow case design is uneven on some of them. Mine came that way. See the picture for an example. I don’t mind it so I’m keeping the set but that may bother some people. The blanket isn’t as soft as I’d like. I’m hoping it’ll soften more over time but would have preferred a softer feel. I also don’t love how wrinkly the blanket was out of the dryer. Overall, I’d still recommend it but want to share insight for anyone who may be bothered by the cons!
