Pleasant Pheasant and Turkey Lurky
The bird design is so fantastic, I knew I had to have this throw as soon as I saw the online preview of this collection. A couple of minor cons: I agree with another reviewer that the printed fabric is a rougher texture like gauze, but after washing and tumble drying, it softened up. Second, unlike the other two quilted throws in this collection, there is no reverse print, which is too bad. Maybe it would have made it more expensive, and I appreciate the price point. Pros: If you love fowl, quirky wildlife prints, and a vivid color palette, this is for you. It looks great with John Derian's previous Thanksgiving collection turkey pillows. It's also generously sized.

Not worth it
I was so excited to order this throw, but disappointed when it arrived. While I love the design, the quilt material is super thin & coarse, like gauze. Maybe after a couple washes it will soften up, but there already loose threads which would make me wary to wash it. There’s also no weight it; the stuffing inside is paper thin, likely a single layer of cheap batting. I typically love items from this designer’s line but, this one missed the mark for me in terms of quality.

Run don’t walk to Target for the John Derian bird collage quilt. It’s gorgeous!! I’m using it as a tablecloth for Thanksgiving dinner. It is upscale & the different textures and colors are a showstopper.
