Does not heat up

This blanket is soft but does not really heat up. I bought it for the office at work because we can no longer have space heaters. I put this blanket on the highest setting and really do not feel much heat. Very disappointing.

Dissapointed

This blanket is one that I own myself, and have enjoyed. I ordered one for a grieving friend and it was sent with the wrong cord , cannot be used and the return will be a hassle for her as she lives over an hour from the nearest Target.

Perfect cuddling size!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the perfect sized throw blanket that’s heated! It has 4 toasty settings that automatically shut off after 4 hours. It’s super easy to clean because it washing machine and dryer friendly! You simply unplug the cord from the power supply and toss it into the laundry. It’s lightweight and so soft!

Brookstone Cozy Heated Plush Throw is a 50” X 60” throw blanket made of a soft and comfortable 100% polyester material. It has four different temperature settings and an easy to use built in, push button controller. The cord is extra long so it is easy to move around with. I like that it is machine washable. This heated throw blanket is perfect for the cold winter weather we are having. My family loves this heated throw blanket. We would recommend it as a great way to stay cozy and warm.

Not worth the price

I loved this blanket at first. I got it for Christmas, & used it every day for about 3 weeks. The only complaint at that point was how easy the buttons were to push. I accidentally turned it up or off multiple times. I read the washing directions & washed it exactly as described. When I tried to use it again it did not work, the lights just blinked. For the price of the blanket I definitely expected better.

The gray color is luxurious and even more attractive in person. Long cord plus four heat settings offers more control than the average heated blanket.

The Perfect Cold Weather Throw!

Terrible purchase

Let me start off by saying how the name Brookestone has always held high regard with me. Brookestone products have always held their integrity and longevity for a highly reasonable price. But now for the hard truth. I live in the South as in southern Louisiana. About 3 hrs from the Gulf of America. It’s pipping hot 99.5 % of the time. That being said we hardly ever turn on the heat. So when there is a slight chill in the air my husband and I typically just get a heated throw and make ourselves cozy while we enjoy the ever so brief chill. I recently purchased two Brookestone oversized heated marble faux fur throw blankets from Target. While they were slightly pricer than I normally would spend on a throw, the name held weight. Overall I was smitten with the purchase, until I wasn’t! Up front the oversized throw is perfect. The warmth is spot on and the comfort was amazing. Then I washed it, as directed. The amount of fuzz and lint that not only floats off the blankets but sticks to your clothes is astounding! I knew some fuzz/lint is to be expected with any faux fur blanket. I have now washed, dried, vacuumed and lint rolled the blankets three times but the fuzz just keeps coming. My floor looks like I own three full grown sheep dogs after two days. Mind you I do not own any pets and it is just my husband and I in the home. Normally dust does not accumulate, however since the purchase of these two over sized throws I am about to do what no woman ever does. I am actually going to admit I made a bad purchase and throw them away! I expect nothing in return for this message other than you simply remove them from your self. I literally am driving my self insane with lint and little white snow bunnies on my floor. I am probably going to go purchase a sunbeam as that product even with the faux fur has never given me this much anxiety. Thank you for reading the message.
