Guests are saying
These gluten-free rolls offer a unique alternative for guests seeking a sweet bread option. While some find the pineapple flavor overwhelming, others appreciate the soft texture and versatility for breakfast sandwiches or sliders. Many guests enjoy warming them up for enhanced flavor. However, there are concerns about the taste being too artificial and the product's overall quality. Guests recommend trying them with butter for a better experience.

Dense
Very heavy, dense and no flavor. Maybe just an old batch but not for me.

Pass...
Definitely not that kind of Hawaiian rolls that most people that are gluten-free hope for. They are overly sweet and taste like pineapple

For those that prefer softer breads
New to GF life, I find most products dense, dry, and crumbly with hard crusts. These buns are slightly sweet and softer than Canyon sliced breads. I toast them and make breakfast sandwiches in the morning. They are also good for a quick deli slider. Not King’s Hawaiian, but probably the closest option of the non-bakery GF choices.

I LOVE these rolls!
I personally love these rolls. I did not even notice the "coconut/pineapple smells/taste" until I read the reviews (although I understand why others mention this as it is a very subtle flavor/smell profile). These rolls are SOFT but dense and taste really fabulous to me, especially when I warm them up in the microwave for 20 secs and serve with butter. I also made sliders and they were fantastic. Expensive for what you get but there is nothing that compares to them so I will occassionally treat myself to these.

Delicious Gluten Free Option!
Not really sure why there are so many negative reviews. It’s not fair to compare to the regular version of Hawaiian rolls. They are gluten free and will obviously not taste like the regular version. They are definitely at their best taste heated, just like any roll.

Weird
For gluten-free bread, the consistency was good and pretty similar to the namebrand Hawaiian rolls. However the overwhelming pineapple taste was hard to get past. I ended up throwing the pack away after trying to eat them on a sandwich a few different times.

I like canyon bakehouse I think their white toast is really good for gluten free but this product fell short of my expectations. It tasted like pineapple perfume. I just couldn't eat it after my second bite.

New favorite GF product!
I’m shocked seeing these reviews! I’m not someone who normally writes reviews but after ordering my third pack of these I noticed the star rating and had to add my two cents. Now, if someone is comparing these directly to the original, of course they’ll be disappointed. No GF product tastes exactly the same. But I think these are the best tasting rolls I’ve found in the 20+ years I’ve been GF!

Awful Taste
I thought these would be a dup for the King’s Hawaiian rolls. They are not. These taste like sunblock smells. They are disgusting. They feel exceptionally hard but get softer and fluffier when warmed up. The taste though…gross!

GF Foodie
Too expensive and not good. Canyon Bakehouse is my go to for GF bread. These were disappointing and I won't purchase again. If you want fruity bread, then you will enjoy these. Tasted like pineapple and coconut.

Disgusting pineapple bread
Disgusting pineapple taste and very dense. I tried to like these but ended throwing the rest of the pack away, which is kinda painful when you buy expensive GF rolls!

Why do they taste and smell like pineapple??
These were so gross I threw them away. What a strange smell and taste, and they were hard and dry.

Not great
They have a weird smell and only taste good with butter or something on them. Would not buy again, certainly not for the price.
