Anything from matrix will slay! As someone who hast dry, color damaged, extreme shedding and tangles this will help so much! My hair has gone through the wringer due to premenopausal hormones and my hair lost is shine and moisture. This product cleans and hydrates after 1 use. I personally washy my hair twice since I only wash my hair once a week but I’m confident it has everything to do with this shampoo/conditioner that my hair is less tangled, more shiny and feels super clean. The scent is minimal and pleasant. It’s a tad more pricey than generic but this is true salon quality shampoo. Hope this helps.

I bought this as our hairdresser used it on my daughter's hair. She has very curly/coily hair and it's the only shampoo and conditioner that cleans, detangles and hydrates her hair to make it manageable for easy combing. It also smells great and from time to time I use it on my straight hair which makes it very soft.

Love it! My hair hasn't been this soft since I was a teen! It was recommended by my hairdresser for everyday use. I will be buying it again. :)

Ive been using this system for a year now so i can give my best review. It really is the BEST line out there. My hair is very fine, loose waves, and normal to light density. This moisturizes like bothing else, its not heavy at all, and the scent it delightful. I wash my hair with the shampoo and conditioner every day! It DOES NOT cause hair loss. Keep in mind when you see reviews like that, odds are those people dont wash their hair as often as they should. What theyre seeing is either NORMAL shedding because they dont brush their hair before rhe shower, or theyre not washing frequently and their scalp is built up with oil, dirt, hair products, free radicals, etc. if you dont wash as often as your hair type requires, your pores will clog with oil and dead skin and hair cannot grow. This online trend of "wash your hair once a week" doesnt apply to everyone and fine hair girls NEED to wash more often. I see this too often and it blows my mind.

I've been using Matrix conditioner for a few years and it's my favorite. It always leaves my hair soft, silky, and super clean. I don't use anything else! The best!!!

I would have given this 5 stars because This was my favorite shampoo and conditioner… i reordered more since i ran out but i did notice that my hair doesnt feel as soft and it doesnt smell the same. It smells iinda like drug store HAIR DYE. Im not sure if i will reorder. Im very disappointed!

Received as a gift and tried it out. Used a very small amount because the smell was overwhelming. "Warm Vanilla" smells like a dollar store sugar cookie candle. The conditioner scent was not quite as strong but also did not match at all. The scent was more like tropical toilet bowl cleaner. Both sucked moisture from my hair and scalp and had to be washed out immediately with my standard routine. Have never had luck with Matrix products. No idea what the hype is about.

I have very curly hair (3a 4a 4b textures throughout). The shampoo smells great, the conditioner smells nothing like it (doesn't smell bad wish the scents were consistent) but it has good slip for detangling in the shower. The mask is a nice (and great smelling addition) after conditioning for extra softness.

This conditioner detangles my curls nicely without weighing them down. It smells amazing too! My new favorite conditioner!!
