I can’t put my finger on what this tastes like, but I can tell you what it DOESN’T taste like - Strawberry Shortcake! Not only is the taste completely off, but the consistency is also super off putting.

It legit tastes like dessert—sweet, creamy, and just the right amount of strawberry goodness. With 20g of protein and only 1g of sugar? It’s basically a treat I don’t have to feel guilty about. This is my go-to snack when I’m out and about (like at the ball field!) and want something that feels indulgent but still keeps me on track. The pretty pink packaging holds a beautifully striped bar that is reminiscent of a strawberry popsicle. The scent is sweet and fruity. The bar doesn’t smell or taste low sugar at all. Aside from appearance, I appreciate the bar has a good amount of protein, making it a good snack. While the bar’s appearance and smell are great, the texture wasn’t something I enjoyed. It has that chalky, chewy, homogenous protein bar texture. It tasted good. But the texture was a total turn off. The texture makes this protein bar an item I wouldn’t reach for again.

This bar has a good texture, the taste is definitely like a protein but didn’t have that nasty after taste you find in a lot of them, and it kept me full for quite a while after my workout. This will likely become a household staple!

It tasted better than other protein bars I’ve had before and did have little pieces of shortcake bites. The texture was just right. I ended up not liking it better than others but also don’t love the protein taste at all so I’m not sure if I would purchase.
