I wanted to try this brand since the mouth wash is good. ever since I used it my gums hurt so bad I can’t deal with the pain

This toothpaste gave me pretty severe gum pain and numbness after a few days of use. DO NOT recommend!

Ever since using this toothpaste my gums have been sore and inflamed. Pretty ironic since its for healthy gums. The cap is so hard to open and the hole the toothpaste comes out of it so small that your tube is constantly messed up from squeezing it so hard. Therabreath will no longer get any of my money.

I used to swear by TheraBreath products, but the new reformulation of the Healthy Gums toothpaste is just another garbage-tier consumer product toothpaste that is not only no longer effective, but now contains sodium lauryl sulfate, a common (and for many people harmless in small amounts) detergent, but which is a sensitizer and irritant linked to receding gums and canker sores. Under the original creator, the lack of this was one of the chief selling points of their mouth care products. This new toothpaste is irritating, bad-tasting, and causing the opposite of healthy gums. Unless they go back to the old formula I'm done as a customer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This toothpaste is very good. My teeth feel very clean and it tastes nice. I would say one thing that I don’t like about this product is that the outside packaging is weak. Otherwise it’s very fresh and makes my mouth feel good.

I used the Therabreath toothpaste 3 times and my mouth is not pleased. My gums are ironically swollen, the corners of my lips are chapped, and I have tiny sores along my gum line above my lip. I’m not in agony, but it’s annoying. I assume it’s the sodium lauryl sulfate, I was sensitive to it many years ago but I haven’t reacted since. This likely won’t happen to most people, but it did to me. Other than that, it’s very foamy and subtle in flavor. Before the reaction I thought “eh, it isnt amazing me but I’ll use up the tube”.

It’s gentle but very effective, leaves my mouth feeling clean, and doesn’t have a harsh taste. I’ve also seen some light whitening with regular use. For the quality and results, it’s a great value and definitely worth buying.

I really feel like this is really cleaning my mouth and gums, and it stays clean longer.
