Not for sensitive skin

I’ve been using this for a few months. Every time I put serums or moisturizer on after using this, my skin is burning. It also makes my skin even more red than it already is. This is a skip for me.

Luv the gleansers!!

I bought the glycerin cleanser duo a few weeks ago. They make my face feel amazing. The oil cleanser removes waterproof mascara with no problem and also my other makeup. The glycolic water cleanser leaves my face feeling clean without stripping. I look forward to trying future products. Thank you Dr. Sam Ellis.

Amazing procuct!

I bought this a month ago. I love how it makes my skin feel so smooth. I am so happy I discoverd Prequel products. I also use Half and Half and Multi Quench. They absorb quickly and feel so nice on my skin- luxurious! I notice the difference in my skin with Prequel products and will not miss a day.

Skip this and buy the original!

I hate to give this a bad review, because every other Prequel product I've purchased have been 5 star products. This gleanser doesn't foam like the original and it feels like it leaves a film on my face after rinsing it off. The original gleanser is a far superior product.

Feels good but doesn't remove makeup

Im giving it 2 stars because it does not clean and remove make up and dirt. Fyi i typically only do a very light coverage. When I try a new cleanser I use micellar water and cotton round to check the how clean my skin is. Each time I do this with this cleanser its dirty. Cleaning out my pores is extremely important.

Wonder product

I am 66 years old and my skin has been changing. I saw this on an ad and was looking into it. I liked that it was fragrance free, created by a dermatologist. It has made a big difference in my skin and I am loving it, I am adding to my collection.

I bought this, and on day 3 it broke me out badly. I went from clear skin to break outs. It also smells horrible and I do not like that it doessn't foam at all. Also slightly burns and tingles when using it.

Broke me out

I used this for just a few days and went from clear skin to a breakout on my face and body. I routinely use the oil cleanser & "gleanser" from this brand and used a glycolic acid cleanser for a long time with no issue, so i expected more from this one.

Soothing, smoothing

I love this product so much. For my skin, glycolic is less drying than salycilic. It helps with redness, texture, and soothing and doesn't make my skin look too shiny. Prequel, if you made this in travel size, I'd buy it immediately.

Glycolic too harsh

I’ve loved the pre-cleanse and gleanser from prequel. Unfortunately, the addition of the glycolic is too harsh for my skin, and i now have a big bottle of it. I am using it as a foot scrub, and once in awhile if my skin feels especially oily or in need of exfoliating. I’ll be going back to the non-glycolic next time.

Great at first

I purchased this on September 28, 2025. I guess it took a week or 2 to arrive. I keep it in my shower on a back wall- not exposed to water hitting the bottle. Today, it wouldn’t come out. I just thought the pump broke. So I opened it to find- it was a harden like gel, so thick that the straw part of the pump left an imprint in the product. It wouldn’t come out not even shake out. I tried shaking it harder- nothing. I added water and a little came out. The other thing that has happen with this product is after using and really rinsing in the shower- it doesn’t matter my Vitiamin C or evening with retinol or just moisturizer- all products lay on top of my skin like a grease/ Lard all day. Until I wash it off. I loved this at first, but no more for me.

Great but needs better packaging

Have been using this cleanser for several months and love it, but like others have said, my pump broke. The viscosity is much thicker than the other gleansers and I feel like a tube like the barrier cream would be better to dispense the product rather than the pump tube due to the thickness. Please consider repackaging!

Great Body & Face wash alternative

Severe psoriasis. Needed alternative to soap and the like. Great cleanser soft skin afterwards and no residue. No fragrance, and no burning or itching after using. Washes easy. Can even lightly shave using this product as skin protection.
