A: I saw it assembled in the store and the color of the metal looks black to me even though it says bronze. It appears black. The marble top is mostly white with natural veins of gray and faint black. But mainly appears like a white marble top on a black frame base

A: Yes. It’s a heavy table. I would say the only thing that could be damaged is the black metal. It could rust but easily refreshed with black paint. I saw this in store and it’s definitely black, not dark bronze.

Excellent heavy high quality table!
Really great table for the price. I found it in store luckily - would be fearful to have it shipped after having issues with shipping other marble pieces (not necessarily from target, just in general). So if you find it in store, I'd say that's your best bet! It's heavy, sturdy, and the marble is nice. the marble on mine is a bit darker/greyer/has more striations than in this picture.

Hope the third try is the charm!
Really want to love this table. I ordered two the second I saw them on the website. And the first one came in yesterday with a chunk missing out of it with the broken piece nowhere in sight. Packed very well but delivered haphazardly. The second table arrived today in horrendous packaging and the box was very damaged. Upon unboxing a bigger chunk was missing from this marble top and the missing chunk again is nowhere in sight. It’s a very heavy sturdy table, not easy to return for a replacement.

High Quality Short End Table
I was thrilled to find the Studio McGee black iron table with marble top at Target yesterday. When I pulled it off the raised shelf and set it on the ground I realized that the height is way too low to look ok next to a sofa. The picture on the website must have a very low couch next to it to make it appear to be normal height. The quality of the item is impressive but I will have to continue my search for an end table with reasonable height (24 inches or higher). The table is heavy and a bit cumbersome to move. Excellent quality though!!!
