Fresh, Clean Hair Without Feeling Stripped
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product for free for testing purposes. I’ve really been enjoying the Raw Sugar Oil Remedy shampoo. The rosemary and mint scent is fresh and gives a nice refreshing feeling on the scalp. It leathers well and leaves my hair feel very clean without making it dry. I like the ingredients and the more natural approach of the formula. The packaging looks simple and nice, and I appreciate that the bottle contains recycled plastic. I also noticed, that with regular use, it helps keep oil under control so my hair looks fresh longer between washes. Overall, its a lightweight shampoo that leaves my hair soft, shiny and refreshed.

Refreshing scent
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This shampoo has been great for my oily roots but also not drying on my ends. My scalp feels healthy. I really like the rosemary mint scent. It’s clean and herbal. I also like that the bottle is partially made of recycled plastic, though the faux wood grain lid is kind of funny.

My favorite part is the smell, tea tree oil. Is a fragrance that relaxes me and makes me feel like it deep cleans my scalp. My hair looks shiny.

I wanted to love this product (and the conditioner too) but it’s a no. First try was okay but the next day the oil started so I thought maybe I used too much and/or didn’t rinse long enough. Second try I used less and rinsed more. Used cool water as instructed. My hair is long, straight, thin and color treated. Comb out was good. Didn’t strip color. But after second use my hair feels dry yet oily if you can believe that. Not soft. Not fluffy. Very flat. And my scalp is itchy in a few places now so I’ll be returning and continue my search.

Clean and fresh

This shampoo is a semi thin clear shampoo that lathers up nicely and smells like mint and rosemary - both of which are good for the scalp. My scalp and hair feel clean but not stripped when using this. I have a dry scalp, and this doesn't irritate it.

Cleaner ingredients

I really appreciate that the ingredients are fairly clean. The mint doesn’t have the strong cooling sensation that most shampoos do, which I actually prefer. From the very first wash you can feel how thoroughly it cleanses without leaving your hair feeling rough. Not for me

My hair type is oily at the roots with dryer ends so I concentrate it on the roots but still didnt feel super clean. My partners hair is all over oily and he liked it more. I tried using it all over and it seemed to work better with less residue left behind, but my hair became ultra frizzy.

Smells great, oil control is so-so
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First I loved the minty smell of this shampoo! I thought it was a little weird that the instructions on the bottle indicate you should rinse it out with cold water though. The idea of a cold water rinse in the dead of winter is *shudders*. I used this shampoo and then went two days before washing my hair again. I think it did help with oil a little bit. I still had to use dry shampoo around my hairline, but further back in my hair was good. Even if this shampoo doesn't help a ton with oil I still liked the way it washed and would use it anyway. But if you're expecting some sort of miracle to oil I wouldn't say this is it.

Fresh and Bright and Wonderful
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the clean ingredients in this shampoo - I was so stoked when I saw I was receiving this because I always put a lot of thought into shampoo. The consistency was thick and gel-y and the scent is so lovely and fresh and bright! The shampoo wasn’t too heavy and rinsed out well. It seemed to do well tampering oil - I’d for sure purchase in the future.
