Hair didnt feel very clean
I have curly hair that usually has a good amount of buildup from the products I put in it when it’s time for wash day. I feel like this shampoo doesn’t leave my hair feeling super clean. I double wash and even after the second, it still feels like it needs more. After a couple days post wash it feels heavy and dirty like it hasn’t been washed in 5 days. I was disappointed because the reviews were promising, but if you have hair that requires a decent amount of creams and leave-ins to maintain… this might not be the shampoo for you.

Made my hair fall out & feel sticky
I’ve been a long time user of Odele, but this new thickening shampoo made my hair come out in clumps! I’m not sure if they changed their recipes but all of the products make my hair feel heavy and sticky now. They never used to do that. So disappointed in Odele for this!

The Perfect Match For Me
At first, I was skeptical about the brand because it is not directly marketed to black hair textures. The thing that drew me in was the small ingredient list and the lack of added fragrance. I used it for the first time and my scalp has never felt as clean and nice. The hydration and cleanliness of my scalp made me feel as if I used a clarifying shampoo. Great job Odele Beauty. . . I can't wait to try more products!!

I’ve been using the Odele Thickening Shampoo for about three weeks, and I’m really impressed! I love the natural fragrance—it’s fresh without being overpowering. The shampoo lathers beautifully, and I don’t need to use much for it to be effective. After a few weeks, my hair actually feels and looks thicker, with more volume and body. Definitely a shampoo I’ll keep using!

Do not recommend for fine hair
This shampoo does not work on fine hair like it says it does. It left a residue on my hair that felt like it couldn't be washed out and by the end of the day my virgin undied and usually shiny hair looked like straw.

I bought this one because they were out of the volumizing shampoo one I usually get. Used it for about two weeks & it left my hair feeling stringy. I also noticed much more hair shedding than normal. So I stopped using it & back to my normal Volume shampoo & Smoothing conditioner from same brand & after a few weeks it was fine again. Will not buy this one again.

Left a residue
I had really high hopes for the thickening shampoo and conditioner and was sadly very disappointed. It left a really bad residue on my hair. My hair was left stiff, dry and heavy feeling. I love for my shampoo and conditioner to make my hair soft and flowy but this did the exact opposite. And I know it says there is no artificial fragrance but it smells strong and caused me a headache.
