Blake Brown Wild Nectar Santal Fundamental Nourishing Shampoo - 14 fl oz

I bought both shampoos and conditioners and the leave in solely based off the scent and the fact it was supposedly modeled after Kersatase (which I use and love but have been looking for a more affordable alternative). I was NOT expecting much from this, especially after seeing Blakes hair in the ads. And usually I am let down by celebrity lines. Plus I am so picky with my shampoo and conditioners in general. After using the system exclusively for a month I am blown away. I have dark blonde hair that is never really shiny, and my hair SHINES now. I have never seen it like that. It feels thick, full ,fluffy and just better. Plus it smells amazing and the scent really lasts. I really put the system to the test this past week, I bleached my hair 4x in a week trying to go blonder, so it definetly got damaged. And you would never know, its silky and soft and feels so healthy. Honestly one of my favorite purchases in a long time. The bottles are a little annoying but the product is so good I dont even care about the packaging. I kinda like that it looks so different than anything you normally see in the store.

Smells amazing and leaves me with very smooth, clean, moisturized hair. Love it paired with the hair mask.

I wanted to love this line, sincerely. I used it as directed for over a month and exclusively. Alternately between the two shampoo and mask pairings and shampooing every other day at most. I have sensitive skin. The fragrance is over powering. Lovely. But very strong. And irritating to my scalp. My scalp broke out in itchy red bumps. It was flaky and dry. Irritated and angry. My hair was flat. Oily. And course. Knotted and dry. And I’m so bummed. Genuinely hoped that this would provide the body and hydration it promised but it made my hair look great for about 4 days. Then things took a turn for the worst and never recovered. I’m switching back to my salon brand. My back of my neck and forehead broke out as well as around my face and I think it’s just the strong perfumes and oils. I’m returning the unopened bottles and discontinuing use. It smells amazing but I actually find myself cringing at the thought of using it again because my scalp is so irritated and uncomfortable. Definitely do not stock up if you plan to try it. The bottles are also awkward to hold in the shower and weird to manage to hold grab product and get the cap screwed back on because everyone is so large and chunky and awkwardly shaped. A flip top would have been a much better design option. I find myself searching for a place to set the mega cap of the mask down while I try to lift out product without getting water in the tub and then get the mask on the hair while getting g the cap back on without dropping the product on the floor - it’s a pain.

This product is for oily scalps or after a few days old hair. Very cleansing but also softens the hair and smells amazing.

I never post any comment but honestly I couldn't not say something. I would not recommend this product at all. The smell is really strong and the product broke me out on the forehead where I never had any breakouts. My scalp was so itchy I thought I had lice and my hair was really heavy and got oily the next day, which it never does because I have dry hair usually... it is definitely not suitable for sensitive skin. Don't waste your money on this there are better alternatives.

The wild nectar scent is fantastic! It's a subtle, grown-up, slightly woodsy version of honey-vanilla. My hair feels great after using this for a couple of weeks. The only thing I don't like is the packaging. It's just awkward to get the lid screwed back on one-handed when I have shampoo in my other hand (because of the shape of the bottle), so it's adding steps to my routine.

I’m so in love with this shampoo. It smells amazing, for one, but most importantly my hair has never felt softer, been shinier, or styled so well. I’m seriously floored by this product and can’t see myself ever going back to any other brand.

I love this line! I alternate both of the shampoo & masks each shower and also use the wonder potion and my hair is so soft & shiny! I get that it might not work for everyone but my hair is loving this!! ❤️

The only selling point this shampoo has for me is the smell. I think the smell is amazing and unlike other shampoos but I can also see it not being for everyone as it is more musky and spicy. I will NOT repurchase this shampoo as the packaging is AWFUL! It’s bulky and hard to hold and doesn’t make sense for in the shower. The shampoo itself is decent though it doesn’t lather much. For the price and due to the packaging I wouldn’t buy again as the only thing that separates it from cheaper options is that the smell

I absolutely love this stuff! I’ve been using it for a month now. My hair is so soft. Prior to switching, my hair was incredibly tangly, dry & frizzy. I have naturally wavy hair. This paired with the mask and the leave in potion has made a world of difference for me. And the smell? Incredible!! I’m shocked by the amount of bad reviews because I couldn’t be happier with it. I’m sure it’s the difference in hair type.

Not a fan of this product. My hair feels flat and heavy and seems to feel more oily more quickly. The smell is wonderful but everything else is dissapointing to the non funtional packaging.

Awful packaging! This is no better than less expensive brands. Might as well buy Pantene and save money. Pantene is better though.

I really wanted to love this. It smells amazing & the packaging is cute but I did not like how it affected my hair. After the wash it’s so smooth and looks gorgeous but after a few hours it will become clumpy and really greasy. I have thick, wavy Hispanic hair and it just did not work well for me.

The smell does very much stay in your hair. The memorable scent it promises is the only promise it keeps. Otherwise my hair looked worse than using cheaper products which such a high price point.

I love this shampoo! It’s completely changed my hair for the better. It’s never been more smooth.

I’ve been using for about a month now. I bought with the pre shampoo mask and the conditioning mask. Personally, it’s worked great for my hair when done together. The shampoo by itself is drying, so I would recommend buying at least the conditioning mask to go with it. My hair feels great and has a lot of shine and body! I’d continue to buy!

I wanted to love this product but unfortunately it broke me out badly. My skin has been clear for years now and after using this I developed cystic acne everywhere my hair touched. All around my face and even on my chest, red bumps all over. I felt so insecure I did not leave my house for two weeks...it was that bad. To make sure it was this product I stopped using it and my acne was mostly cleared up in two weeks. I would not recommend this product, sorry.

Love the smell and it makes my hair feel so soft! I love Blake Lively, she’s a girl’s girl and glad she made something affordable when she could have easily gone the luxury route.

The smell is amazing. But this shampoo is terrible. I’ve never had so many knots in my hair after using a shampoo. My hair is naturally smooth - I rarely have to use masks or conditioner. This KILLS my hair. It’s so dry and SO tangly after using. So bummed because the smell is so awesome. I’m returning the entire collection.

I am extremely picky about hair products - having dealt with difficult dry curly hair that frizzs and is untamed without alot of products. Most shampoos are drying to my hair - but this line is very gentle and I have had no issues at all. The scents are intoxicating. I feel so exotic like I am using the most expensive, luxurious hair products at a Target price. Zero tangles after doing the routine with the masks and I notice less hair fall. I believe it's strengthening and nourishing my damaged hair! It looks and feels great.
