The Core has a sturdy plastic frame with a removable foam insert where as the Original is completely made of Foam. The tray on the Core is 15" vs. 16.5" on the Original. The Upseat Core has tray storage located under the seat when not in use.

If you are hoping to use the Upseat as a booster seat as well as floor seat, the Upseat Original is the way to go, if you are looking to use it just as a floor seat, the Core is the way to go.

    We’ve been using this item for a few months now. No complaints, baby enjoys sitting on this during feedings. Chair is easy to clean, has not stained from food. The table part is a tad tricky to take off but not too big of an issue. You have to pinch the prongs with a little bit of force. I recommend this baby item, it helps with posture and baby sits comfortably. Pics are of baby at 5/6 months, 13-16lb

    Pros: price point compared to others, lightweight for travel, easy to clean, ergonomically well made for babies hips and posture Cons: if you have nails, it is impossible to take the tray off… like I mean painfully impossible and my nails aren’t obnoxiously long. I’m not sure if the regular upseat has an easier system, but if it does I would spend the extra money on it

    Baby led weaning must have

    We already have a clip on high chair and a full size high chair but baby tends to slump a little in both and doesn’t seem to enjoy sitting in them for very long because of this we think. I had been eyeing the original upseat but when I saw this new version which ended up being half the price of the original while on a target sale it was a no brainer and it is easily her favorite now. I wasn’t sure if it would make sense to have a chair that only works for the 4-12mo period but it makes BLW so much easier and she is so much happier so it very clearly is worth every penny.

    Skip the Bumbo get this!

    I am absolutely obsessed with the Upseat for my 7 month old. We had the Bumbo version and I never really liked it as my child could sit up independently and then I would put him in that seat and he would constantly lean over. That’s not the case with the Upseat. The Upseat has him sitting nice and straight and he loves it! It’s light weight and has a handle so it’s easy to grab with one hand and bring it around the house wherever I need it to be. It cleans very easily and the straps are nice and secure! I highly recommend!!

    The perfect chair

    This is the perfect chair for babies. It's lightweight so easy to carry around, inside, outside or to the pool and ballpark. My little man loves sitting outside and the upseat is the best at keeping his spine in the right position. Because of the way it helps your baby sit, builds the foundation for sitting comfortably without assistance. Highly recommend!

    Oh I just love this! My 5 month old is getting stronger, and I feel like this seat is really helping her develop strong support and posture. We tried other seats, but her chunky thighs did not fit in them well. This seat is chunky baby approved!
