What's to say, these jeans are the best. I've worn them all my life, and have never been disappointed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I haven't worn a pair of these since the 1980s and decided to try them again. I ordered my usual waist size and added a couple inches to the length, wore them in a warm tub for about 30 minutes and kept them on until dry. They are almost perfect -- just a little loose and maybe a half inch longer than ideal, but still a great fit. I'm sure the more I wear them, they will continue to conform and become a favorite pair of jeans. Love the button fly, too.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Been wearing 505's for a while, but I have had a lot of issues with consistent fit and durability across the Levi's offerings. The one thing I have noticed is that 501's seem to wear better and are a bit snugger across the board, so I've decided to transition from the 505's, despite the lack of zipper. I have had luck as low as 34x32 and as large as 36x34. I know they say shrink-to-fit runs a couple inches larger in both directions post-wash, but after washing these on warm and drying hot; they feel like a snug 36x34 or a loose 34x32, so I'm happy with the fit. If you're not laying in a hot water tub to fit these, I'd recommend ordering the largest size you usually wear. Also note, if you've never purchased shrink-to-fit, they are HUGE before you wash, so don't let that scare you away. A bit disappointed that these showed up under the "selvedge" levi.com filter and seem not to fall under that category. Denim also feels thinner than I was expecting; encountered the same issue with a pre-washed pair that was explicitly marked "selvedge." 4/5 on discount, no way I would pay full price for these given how thin the fabric is and not being "selvedge."

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Nice jeans, a little baggy in the lower legs. If you’re going to shrink in a tub definitely size up an inch I. The waist and 2 inches inseam. I bought 33x32 and usually wear 32x32 but they shrank shorter than I thought. I may have them hemmed so that the leg is a little narrower. Good looking and good construction would buy again (but would get them a size longer)

Didn’t take long to make a life long convert of him, now he will wear nothing else. Fifty two years of marriage and this is the only Jean he’ll wear, shrink to fit 501’s. Heaven forbid if you stop making these, he would go naked! And I so appreciate the sale, I’m going to try and buy him a couple pairs every time so he’ll be stocked up. Thank you!

My husband wears a size 32 / 28. the jeans I just ordered 32 / 28 barely fit past his hips. fortunately, they fit my daughter whose an extra small.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Shrink to fit 501s never let you down! Get em two sizes large (if you wear a 34 waist w a 34 inseam get a 36 waist and 36 inseam) wash em and wear em. Takes twice for me for them to fit perfectly. They last longer too.
