Promotes Better Sleep and Safer Sleep and is the easiest way to transition baby from a snug classic swaddle

Little Sleeves with a Big Purpose simultaneously provide partial suppression of the Moro reflex with cuffs closed and arm mobility if baby rolls over.
Innovative 2-way, 2 pull zipper makes it easy to place baby in sack, easy diaper changes. Parents can open a cuff, so baby can self-soothe on skin, or close cuffs to protect baby from facial scratches

The SwaddleDesigns Transitional Swaddle Sack® is the easiest and safest way to transition baby from a snug swaddle. It features Little Sleeves with a Big Purpose™. When parents close the mitten cuffs on the half-length sleeves, the uniquely-shaped sleeves provide partial suppression of the Moro (startle) reflex which helps baby sleep better, and if baby rolls over on to tummy, baby can use their arms to push torso up and reposition their head to get access to air for safer sleep. When baby shows signs of starting to roll over, it’s time to stop swaddling with arms fully restrained inside a classic swaddle, but when baby doesn’t sleep well in a sleeveless wearable blanket due to still having a strong startle reflex causing awakenings, the Transitional Swaddle Sack is the ideal safer sleep solution. Foldover mitten cuffs may be worn open or closed. It’s best to start with both cuffs closed for partial suppression of Moro (startle) reflex. For older babies who want to pacify on their hand, one cuff can be opened so baby can self-soothe. For even older babies (typically 4-6 months or older) whose Moro reflex has faded, both cuffs can be opened and the TSS converts to a sleeping sack with no Moro suppression. The lower section of the sack supports baby’s legs in a natural flexed position while still allowing room to stretch. Recognized as Hip Healthy by the International Hip Dysplasia Institute. The innovative 2-way zipper has two zipper pulls – one at the neckline and one at the foot of the sack. Zips down from the neckline to easily place baby in the sack. Zips up from the feet for easy diaper changes. The easy to use, award-winning and patented design created by a nurse delivers better sleep and safer sleep for baby. US Patents 11,812,795 and D883613. Don't even bother with this product.
This is not a good swaddle sack, it in fact sucks. I wanted to like it but I just don’t! First off it’s loose it’s literally like a long sleeve jacket is all it is, that’s it! It’s not tight, it doesn’t hug baby as a swaddle once did I was hoping it would hug baby a bit more since this is supposed to be a transition from a swaddle to a sleep sack. Second the arms don’t stay put they’re just.. free. Third the little cuffs that go around baby’s hand come off every single second they do not stay. I purchased this not even 24 hours ago and will be returning it by the morning bright and early. Strongly dislike this product and I do not recommend. It’s literally just a long jacket that’s it.

We switched our twins from the Merlin to these at 5 months when we started sleep training. I wanted them to be able to easily access their hands for soothing. They both love it and have done super well with it! Our boy has also started kind of rolling to his side a little bit (which he couldn’t do in the Merlin).
