Why did Target send me Chessman cookies that were 6 weeks past expiry date?
Ordered Chessman salted caramel cookies. All 7 packs of cookies expired 6 weeks ago! I am addicted to these cookies and opened one pack just to be sure they didn’t taste bad. They were awful!!! Going back of course..

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Pepperidge Farm Chessmen Salted Caramel Cookies did not disappoint! As soon as you opened the bag you could smell the caramel. The cookies reminded me of a caramel frappe from McDonald’s or caramel Ghirardelli chocolates. The smell alone had me begging to try them. They are my new guilty pleasure and I have to eat them when the baby is not around. I even added them on top of some homemade banana pudding and it was a crowd pleaser! I give the chessmen salted caramel cookies a 10/10!

Salted Caramel, Take Me Away
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This cookie is delightful. It has an excellent crunch and like a caramel glaze on the top. There are also little chunks of salted caramel throughout the cookie. You can also taste the salt a little, which nicely balances out the sweetness. I had to physically take these cookies away from my husband because he likes them so much. They’re that good.

Delicious; packaging needs updated
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The cookies are absolutely delicious!! They have a nice light Caramel flavor and would be excellent paired with a cup of coffee. The packaging however needs updated. When I received my cookies at least half of them were broken in transit. More of a padded packaging might help. Another suggestion would be to have bending tabs to decor the bags when closing the package.

I also love cool and unique design printed on each cookie, and the packaging is lovely . We already bought 2 more packs because our daughter ate them all so I had to buy more for myself

None of the cookies were broken, except for 2 which is great because no one likes eating crumbs. I will be buying these cookies again and telling friends.
