Q: Is this halal friendly ?

submitted by AK - 5 months ago

  • A: Hey! No, SmartSweets are not halal certified. Our Gummy Worms and Sour Gummy Worms contain pork gelatin, so they do not qualify for halal certification. Our other innovations are plant-based but are produced in facilities that are not halal certified. Hope this helps! <3

With only 3 grams of sugar per bag, these chewy treats provide a guilt-free indulgence. Love the multiple flavors

I enjoyed eating these and getting the fruitiness and the sourness from them! Sometimes I like to eat them by flavor section.

    Hard to chew

I like the fact that is a healthy option, however, I rated one start because gummies are very hard to chew.

    Pass on fhis.

Pass on this unless you like chewing on something with the consistency of shoe leather. Taste wasn’t great either. I wouldn’t really describe it as a traditional sour flavor, more like tangy. The flavor of the gummies also weren’t great. I will not repurchase.

    Trash

I threw these in the trash. They’re powdered gummies and they taste like chemicals with a terrible aftertaste. The gummies are hard. Good idea for a healthier candy, poor execution.

    Amazing taste without the sugar.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love these snacks. They're delicious and healthy without the sugar (or very little sugar (3 g)) and good fiber. I don't feel guilty at all eating these and they taste just like the regular gummies.

    Overwhelming sour!

When they say sour believe it! These were so sour, they were unbearable. I will not be repurchasing these again and I certainly would not give these to a child.
