Black Jute Braided Oval Table Runner - Threshold™

Insane amount of shedding. I bought two. One was to go on a white kitchen island. I accidentally put the wrong side down. Literally one second later flipped it over to be correct. The counter was already COVERED in black. This thing is a mess. Who wants to clean constantly for a runner. Immediately will be returning them. Don’t even bother.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really wanted to love this table runner because it looks nice and feels very heavy duty. Unfortunately, it sheds everywhere. I didn’t realize how much until little fibers started getting all over the table and even getting on my food. I put bread down on the table and found pieces of the fibers on it, which was gross. I ended up having to vacuum the whole table and wipe everything down after to get all the little fibers off . It is nice to look at, but the shedding completely ruined it for me.

I started putting my centerpiece together after the overlay was there and it protects not only the table and your table covers, but it creates a sharp contrast to the greens and organic colors that you’re about to add to your table. The size is perfect. It’s also great for serving food.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been looking for a runner that is thick enough to hold onto every day dinner serving dishes that won’t damage the wood or the cover over my table. This is great for dinners or if you are putting out a spread. It also makes a great backdrop to a table decor that needs to fit a certain theme.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This table is black and made of jute. It is very thick and comes folded so it will take a while to get the fold lines to go away. The ends are curved which is nice since it is oblong. It is able to be wiped clean or spot cleaned. It is pretty long and very sturdy since it is thick so a heavy vase sitting on top would look good.

This features a braided design & sits 48in L x 14in W. It has an oblong silhouette with rounded ends & is a spot clean product. The cons for me personally were the dimensions. This was not long enough for my table. This might fit better on a small island in a kitchen though. The quality is thick so just be mindful of that when placing items on top. Overall, this would be a great runner if you are looking for something different.

I always have a hard time keeping a table runner for a long time because they always get stained from food or it doesn’t wash well. This table runner hides stains nicely and also cleans easily. I haven’t had to wash it but I’m sure it will hold up

I love the braided pattern of this table runner, and the thickness of it! It really does add acute design to my dining room table and fits it perfectly! The black color is nice and simple, but elegant enough to show off my dining room table!

Once I got home with it and set it on my oval design table, I don’t think it looks that great. I wish it was a tab longer, then I think it would look better for my length of the kitchen table!

It needs to sit there longer with some plates to flatten out. It’s thick enough but not overly thick. I like the material and the black color. I do recommend this runner!
