Misleading label for severe nut allergies
One star just for the allergy information. Wanted to try these since I have a severe peanut allergy but they are actually made on the same line that processes peanuts. The problem that I have with the labeling is that the ingredients list is in bolder writing and then directly under it is information about the distribution. And only under the distribution information do they put information about cross contact with other allergens (also in a smaller font). This is very dangerous for people with severe allergies and Smash Foods should change their labeling.

Nut Allergy Alert
So this nut-free product was made on the same lines as nuts. That’s smart. I’m glad I read the whole ingredient list- down to the statement in the very bottom. Do NOT buy if you have an allergic kiddo, or to a school as snacks for other students.

Lead exposure ?!
I hate how these are labeled as if they have “clean” ingredients but then have a Prop 65 warning for lead. Avoid these and especially don’t give these to your kids!

Great flavor but WAY overpriced
They’re really good! If you typically eat clean, you’ll probably love them. My picky kids did not like them at all so I got them all to myself! However, I won’t repurchase because the retail price is absurd. I bought these in the middle of the night for next day pickup because I had forgotten to order dinner ingredients for the next day, and just added these last minute without paying attention to price. I paid almost ten bucks for four teeny bags with 5 balls in each. I’ll make my own next time :) or RXbar makes similar balls (but with peanut butter) for a better price at C—-co.

Awful- Do Not Buy!
These are awful. Save your $10 and buy yourself some eggs, powder sugar, jam, almond flour. For a gluten free option try 1 egg, 1/2 cup almond flour, 1/2 cup powder sugar, and 1 cup peanut butter. Scoop 1 tsp portions once you mix everything and it’s no longer sticky. Use your hand to flatten into small thick circles to place the jam in before closing and rolling by hand into balls. You can use guava or strawberry paste for the best results and bake at 325 for ~12 mins, best snack ever.

Why make a sunflower butter option on the same line as products that contain peanuts? This makes zero sense. People with peanut allergies can’t even eat these. 😵💫

Tasty Protein Bites Gluten Free
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These gluten free bites have been a big hit with my child who has celiac disease. Since they are certified gluten free, they are a great grab and go option for him. We are also a peanut free household due to other allergies but he seems to really like the sunflower butter as an alternative. The strawberry and nut butter filling provide a nice balanced flavor in these bites.

Perectly sized snack balls
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These little packages on sunbutter and strawberry balls are so delicious and I love that they also have 6 grams of protein in each pack. The packages have ample air in them so your snack doesnt get totally smashed which is really nice. The box has four pouches of snack in it and they are really super tasty.

We will buy over and over!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These jam packed sunflower butter bites are so delicious they feel like dessert, but have all the ingredients of a perfectly healthy snack. My toddler son stole the bag from me after he tasted one. The texture is soft and chewy and the flavor is perfectly sweet without making your teeth hurt. We love them!

Not a nut free alternative
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First, I noticed these are produced on equipment that also processes nuts. Next, I'm not extremely experienced in protein balls but wanted to try these. They seem slightly dry, the jelly center helps a little. I thought they were alright. My 5 year old didn't like these, but my 2 year old thought they were great. It's a convenient kid's snack.

I Have a Lot of Thoughts!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The pictures of the bites I found to be a bit misleading. In reality the exterior is much more of a darker brown. As for taste, it was overall too sweet for me, but otherwise you definitely get the strawberry flavor. Also did not mind the texture. As for someone who is not gluten free, I wouldn’t repurchase but I think these are a good option for gluten free people compared to many other gluten free snacks I’ve tried. Definitely worth giving a shot if you like strawberries and dates!

Yummy and healthy snack !
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These tasted really substantial to bite into. They were thick and chewy and had a lot of flavors them kind of like a little bite of a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. They’re super convenient packaged to go in a lunchbox or keep in the car. I like that they packed a little punch of protein as well and they really don’t make a mess. They’re not very crumbly.

Great texture, excellent snack
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have purchases in the past and absolutely love them. They are a great option to have on hand if you need a snack or some additional protein in your day. They are also great for those who have any nut allergies. The texture of them are quite soft and do not have a bad aftertaste. Overall, a great product.

Simple ingredients, big taste
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are a great snack on the go. Each one of the little bites is fairly substantial - probably as big as a quarter and quite plump. I like that it doesn't have a lot of added sugar, it tastes sweet but not crazy sweet, and I don't see any fake sweeteners which is important to me. I wish my toddler like them - but I'm not sure she loves the texture. However these seem like a great idea to throw in my diaper bag, eat in the car on the go, or especially when road tripping to make it inbetween meals 😀. These taste much more like food than a lot of protein bars, and I like that it has limited ingredients. I would buy these again!

Disappointing
Disappointed. I thought I would get a refreshing squirt or jelly in the middle. The inside ball is lined with dry and crusty jelly. They are basically like eating a nut butter ball. No reason to pay for them

Not for people with peanut allergies
I was really excited when I found these because my son is allergic to peanuts and I thought they would make a great snack. But alas, they are processed on equipment that processes nuts. What a wasted opportunity! A huge disappointment.
