This floor lamp is so classy. It looks like a museum piece. Best part my husband likes it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was worried based on photos that this might look/feel cheap or flimsy and I was wrong. The base is very heavy, so I'm not worried about it getting knocked over, and the whole thing feels very stable. This sits behind or couch and hangs over to the side of it. I was pleasantly surprised that you can't directly see the lightbulb when you're sitting on the couch - the shade is large enough that you're not looking at an exposed light. We've set this up with our Philips Hue lights and can control it via Amazon Alexa - great addition to our living room!

I specifically love how the lamp gives off so much light over my chair so, I can read or knit and not over power the whole room with light.

From the time I received the product, I put it on the floor and was so pleased to have it as a part of our house style. Very easy installation. I received a lot of compliments about he design and appearance of the lamp. I like it so much. The only issue I experienced was that it was not steady on a carpet. Unfortunately, I felt like it was about to fell down, so I removed it from the room where it was supposed to be to the other room with laminate.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This lamp has a nice retro look with a gorgeous marble base. However, because the base is real marble, it is heavy. I had to put weight on the top of the base in order for the lamp to stand straight. Without the weight, the lamp base sits uneven on the floor with the appearance that it is going to fall over. The heavy light fixture at the top of the lamp makes it top heavy creating an even more undistributed weight problem.

It works great in that dark corner to brighten it up. It comes with easy to follow instructions to put it together. Also I love the fact that the switch to turn it on is on the floor so you can just tap it with your foot.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When we moved into our home, I loved all of the natural lighting and big windows. It's great during the day. However, at night the house is so dark and has very little lighting. I really needed a lamp to make things brighter. My first thoughts opening this box was how heavy the base is. This makes sense to keep it from falling over. It's smooth marble, sturdy and is so much better than previous lamps that end up knocked over by children. Second thing, which is probably my favorite, is I noticed how easy this was going to be. The pieces of the lamp are all connected together, just pull off the tiny plastic rings between them and twist together. The lamp cord is already inside. The step switch makes it easy to turn on and off and the top was easy to screw on. Since the shade is so large it can hold just about any type of light bulb with a standard sized base. It gives off a good amount of light but with the shade dark it keeps it from shining in your eyes, which is a nice change. It works well as a light to work under for school, reading or artwork. I am very happy with the quality and the overall light it brings to our home that was in desperate need of it.
