I'm not old enough for nursing home food. But my blood pressure says otherwise. I simply can't have salt anymore but I would if it weren't for NoSalt. I find I have to add just a touch more to get the exact same flavor as table salt. The consistency is the same, it breaks down the same. I've replaced the entire household salt shakers with NoSalt and no one even noticed the change. There's no aftertaste, it's not bitter. It works exactly as salt would in every instance.

It was my first time trying it as we are trying to reduce the sodium in our diet and thought it could be useful. In trying it we found that it does not have a good flavor. The taste has a pure chemical flavor and makes anything that it is applied to have this chemical flavor as well. It is basically inedible and makes anything it is put on also inedible. I would not recommend buying considering it is almost $6 USD and it will be money lost since you cannot consume it. Waste of money unfortunately. I hope they find a way to improve the flavor because the concept is there.

I am happy to be humbly writing this review to cancel out the [very] negative one I left day before yesterday. I thought the recipe had been changed. It was not. It was a 1 in a 1000 co-incidence that I opened a new container the same day milk was turning sour. When I went to add the 3 1/2oz of milk to my eggs this morning, the milk came out in lumps. So I poured it down the sink and got a new gallon of milk. It was the milk. The taste I have come to enjoy was back. Was sincerest apologies for that review, and if there is any way I can retract it completely from your site please let me know how to do that.

No - Salt is no longer [at least the one I just purchased] Potassium Chloride, but simply Potassium. At least that's what the container reads. have to think the product was taste tested by someone who does not actually use the product with their own diet. Please return to the old recipe. This one sucks.

Some years ago, I became ill with kidney failure and as a part of the process to hold off my kidney's from complete failure I was told to cut salt. I went to NO SALT. It is GREAT. Taste like real salt and I defy anyone to tell the difference in cooking or straight forward.
Could taste better.
