Definitely NOT worth $40!
The sounds that come out are very garbled and hard to understand. For example, I tried to listen to a podcast and I couldn’t understand a word they were saying. Also, I put it side by side with a smaller, CHEAPER version of this exact product and the sound was the same! So I paid almost $40 for something that sounds exactly like the one that was only $15!! Literally the same!! And, of course, the return window has closed so I can’t even get my $40 back…I’m so annoyed with this speaker and my experience!!

This speaker sucks. The volume level doesn’t go very high and the battery has died twice after only having this for a week and using for about 2 hours straight. Do not buy this, it is a rip off.

Great prop up and sound

This speaker is portable, has a long charge, waterproof, has a clip, and has a magnetic back so you can put it anywhere, this all amongst other things. I love this little speaker! One of my favorite things is to bring this in my dad's antique car that does not have a radio. With the magnetic back it goes right on the dash and doesn't move.

Excellent way to give your cell phone Volume
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I would like to thank Influenster and Altec Lansing for allowing me to participate in this incentivized campaign in return I received the Hydra mini 2 everythingproof, Waterproof Wireless Speaker. And I would like to share my thoughts I have been thinking of getting a little Wireless Speaker like this. With the Speaker I'm able to work in my garden and listen to music I'm also able to take it with me into the shower and listen to a podcast. Also this speaker makes it so that I can talk on the phone without sitting right on top of my cell phone. It is especially wonderful when your earbuds go dead but you want to keep your phone on the charger but not be tied to your phone. I have to say I'm really enjoying this little waterproof speaker. The sound quality is better when the quality of the music or program your listing to is better. And the battery lasts a long time I've only charged it two times since I had it!!! This is a great little speaker. One more thing the speaker has a magnet and it comes with hardware to attach to a pipe so you can apply it to your handlebars and have a speaker while you're riding a bike. This is just amazing

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great, tough, compact speaker. Love the USB-C charging and waterproof case. The magnet holds it to my backhoe while working and it couldn’t be more enjoyable. In fact, it rained shortly after that picture and the speaker did great! One minor improvement: I wish the power button were a single push instead of push-and-hold, but not a big enough deal to drop a point. Easy to pair and comes with a tough handlebar mount too! Very nice product.
