Not worth it

The directions were horrible to start. Took a couple hours to assemble and just had to rely on photos and finally figured it out. The top has a seam that’s visible no matter how you assemble and my two top pieces didn’t line up well and were different cuts of wood. Still attractive but not worth the hassle.

The top two pieces do not meet as well as they should so the crack is quite noticeable. Good looking and fine for the price.

Super flimsy. Beware

I love the aesthetic of the table but it is flimsy. I’ve had this table since October 2025 and the table top is loose. I wish there was a way to fix it. Other than, it’s a beautiful table.

Only thing I will say is balance isn’t very strong so, say, erasing on paper or cutting on a plate will shake the table a little. But customer service is amazing and I love Plank+Beam products!! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Looks nice and seems good quality, but the table top was moldy and smells awful. We noticed a grayish haze but thought it was dust. We laid the parts out, threw the boxes away and the next morning the dining room smelled like mold and mildew. We did a sniff test and it was the table top. We've cleaned it and put outside for 24 hours, still has slight odor. Too much trouble to return. Disappointed, but hopefully smell will dissipate and we'll have a really nice dining table.

Table arrived with multiple quality

The company is refusing to issue a refund without charging me for return shipping or to personally pay for junk removal. They are refusing to pay for removal despite delivering a damaged and unusable product. Do NOT order from this company. I’ve notified the BBB.

Defective

I'm only giving a 1 Star because the table really looks nice. However the table came defective with the screws under neath the table popping off which causes it to wobble. I bought this table back in May 2025 and will keep it for a little while but I'll eventually buy another table from a higher end retail store. The only reason I didn't return this is because I paid almost less than $300 and don't want to go through the hassle since it was cheap so I guess you get what you pay for.
