Hunter 60" Aerodyne Matte Black Lighted Ceiling Fan with Integrated LED and Handheld Control for Smart Home Integration

I bought five of these (mix of 52 and 60 inch). The physical installation was straightforward, except that getting the first fan blade aligned is a bit tricky. (The rest go pretty smoothly). The app with its forced “chat” interface and irregular crashes makes HomeKit setup much slower and harder than it needs to be. No app is needed for local private control, just hit the pairing button, go into WiFi settings and select the SimpleConnect network and scan the HomeKit QR code.

Installation relatively easy but can't use push-in connectors due to stranded wires on fan. I thought that this model had a low profile mount but Hunter assures me that it does not. They offered a shorter down rod (2" instead of 3" in package, but that's not enough to justify taking everything apart again. I installed with live feed so there is no wall switch to shut off power to fan/light, have to open breaker in panel if necessary, but the remote turns everything off. The remote works as advertised, but there seems to be a delay in dimming the light so it's difficult to avoid overshooting. Lights packaged with the unit were not sufficient so we replaced them with higher wattage bulbs. Fan blades made in China but were balanced so that there is no wobble. I wish the blades were more aerodynamic like windmill blades to move more air. Motor is soundless, no hum, no buzz. The only sound from the fan is at high settings due to the turbulence of the blades moving through the air.

I was looking to improve the airflow in our bedroom. This fan did that and the light is bright enough and dimmable.

Fan is great, very sturdy, very steady, and moves a lot of air, but the main reason I bought this brand was for the Apple HomeKit integration. I can hook it up fine, but by the next time I want to use it, it has gone offline, and the only way to reconnect it is by powering the fan on and off, at the wall switch, which makes WiFi redundant.

The Hunter app will not connect to Alexa. The fan itself is great, wobble free and moves the air well in the room.

The fan looks great in our family room and it is really quiet. The light really brightens up the room in all directions. So far we are really happy with this fan and would recommend it.

No humming noise as mentioned in other comments. Satisfied.

Modern looking, moves a lot of air even on low setting

The fan is all we expected. It blends in well with white ceiling and is very quiet. We ordered a 36" down rod and the extra wiring required. Installation was a two man job with our 14' ceiling.

Good fan and really quiet it works as advertised with the exception of the app and working with WiFi. I never could get it to connect.

It was hard to get the screws to go into the holes properly and the globe is loose fitting. other than that we love it! It’s durable and energy efficient and lights up the room perfectly. You can also dim the light. It is so quiet when running you don’t even hear it turn on. . You can control it from an app on your phone or from the remote. I would purchase this for other rooms in my home.

Once up and running, it is very quiet and puts out a nice amount of air. It is going to be nice having it during the summertime to keep that room cooler down.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The brightness of the lights was really good and efficient. We love the fact that it came with a remote for easy control. It is not too noisy and installation was fairly simple for those who have done DIY at home previously.

I bought 3 of these for my house. No matter how often I reset the fan they won’t stay connected to the internet. The fans work great tho you just can’t control the fan speed via the app ever
