The included wooden boards measure 1 in. x 7.5 in. x 24 in., and the kit comes with two shelves and four brackets. Assembly is required, and all necessary screws and anchors are included. The reclaimed wood is sourced in the southwestern United States as part of a collaborative forest restoration program. Each Ponderosa pine shelf is unique in color and grain, so the shelves you receive may differ slightly from those pictured, which is part of the charm of real wood—no two pieces are exactly alike. For hollow wall applications, use wall anchors; they are not necessary if flanges are attached directly into studs. Each shelf has been weight-tested to hold up to 50 lbs. of evenly distributed weight when mounted with wall anchors in drywall.
