Q: So I love these Chicken Pot Pies...but my microwave went on the not working list!! so tried to cook in new microwave & its not cooking right! it is a 1100 watt. I have wasted 4 pot pies because of this!!

    Disappointed

    Other than having a cross that can fill me up. I had a few pieces of chicken, about a teaspoon of peas, and a few slices of carrots. I was very disappointed.

    The taste of chicken pot pie is so good.

    Chicken pot pies are the best. Theyre filling and are.so good. You cant get enough of the sauce and sweet taste of the veggies. I love it when the crust is a little brown also.

    whatever gravy is left always spills outside by the time it’s done cooking. the chicken and vegetables don’t have much taste. reformulate it with more gravy actually inside the pie and this will actually sell. this was my favorite frozen meal for years why change up what wasn’t broken?

    Gross no veggies and like a big flour gob of glue

    I have to say the worst. They were great years ago but litterly there was 2 slices of carrots and 3 peas and 10 tiny potato's and 4 tiny pieces of chicken and the beef was the same. Threw away after one bite as it thick glue a waste of heating up oven

    Foreign object

    I had a Chicken Pot Pie for dinner with a foreign object inside. It was about 2 inches long and thin. It was thick stick shaped, it was not a stem.

    Pie Not Good

    The pies are different. Watery; not creamy and don’tt bake the same. Don’t remember broccoli being in there. My husband and I woke up at 3 am needing antacids. Won’t buy these anymore. Returning the extras I bought. Just not good. Used to be a favorite.

    What happened?

    This used to be my favorite go to comfort meal. I can’t even eat the chicken now. My cat won’t eat it either. That’s how bad it is. I won’t be purchasing any more pot pies. Why would you ruin a good thing?

    Introduce pot pie, without chicken

    I love the chicken pot pie. How, it would be more awesome, without the chicken. Will you consider it. Not plant based, just the pie without any chicken.

    No longer a good pot pie!

    While not quite like homemade, your chicken pot pies used to be tasty with a flaky crust and decent amount of creamy filling with vegetables. Is purchased them for years. Now, they taste like glue. The crust is no longer flaky and buttery, but pasty. The filling has little flavor and less veggies than it used to have. Being back the original recipe - and label the boxes so you can tell it's the original recipe - or I'll never purchase these again!

    Poor quality. Recipe change but. Top crust like ca

    I used to love these chicken pot pies but the last 3 have definitely changed. The first one I noticed the top rust that use to be tender and tasty. Was like card board. I thought maybe I got a bad one so I did try again twice no change and the sauce is gummy . Nothing like how great these pies were . Obviously you made a recipe change but not a good one. So sad.

    If it ain’t broken don’t bend it

    It’s been approx almost a full year since I bought a chicken pot pie. This was my staple go to since I hate cooking & it was flavorful, full and I met my nutritional content. I recently went to Giant and bought two boxes, this was about a week and a half ago. I used the air fryer & let it cool for approx 10 minutes. The moment I took a bite, things were not the same. It tasted strange, dull and a bitter. The chicken was bland, the vegetables honestly didn’t taste like good veggies (even frozen) & the sauce was 1000% not the same. Now, I heard there’s a new manufacturer or maybe their cutting corners for cost… but if we’re being honest, in the long run, will the freezer section stay full with Marie C’s products? Based on my experience and plenty of reviews, we can fortell the future - it does seem that way.

    Pie is now disgusting in 2026

    My husband and I used to love these but the garbage pie I ate today was disgusting. The dough tastes weird and it's both stale and rubbery. The filing tasted like gray sludge with a bitter aftertaste. This was our comfort food for years. Now what?

    Disappointed

    After decades of preferring Marie Calendars chicken pot pies, my husband said,"don't buy these again.." I profoundly agree. The quality has gone down the sewer. The chicken pieces were good but there were very few veggies. The crust was very soggy even though we followed the directions. So 😢

    So disappointing

    There was no gravy, a few chunks of chicken, with a few vegs. So disappointed. Crust was ok. Actually your dumpling soup is much much better.

    What have you done???

    I am so disappointed in your chicken pot pies. What have you done? They are not as delicious as they always were. There is very little gravy and too much crust. They tasted dry. There were 4 pieces of chicken in my pie! I used to say I could live on chicken pot pies.....sadly that is no longer the case.

    Something changed and its not good

    This used to be a comfort food from childhood. I recently had one at my brothers house and it was disgusting. I don't know what you changed but I couldn't even finish it and I will definitely not be stocking up at my house.

    Oh my, the chicken pot pie used to be one of my favorite quick microwave meals. Even in the oven, it was worth the extra wait. Just bought one a few days ago and cooked it in the oven, expecting that awesome flaky crust that was so wonderful. Instead, the crust was dry on top and uncooked on the bottom. The filling was tasty, but nearly as much as chicken and vegetables as my last one a few months ago. Obviously, as you can see by so many recent reviews and comments, the product is quite inferior to what we expect from Marie Calendars. I appreciate that you may respond to my comments and share this information with your team. Hopefully you will also share these complaints with top management, so they understand why this product is receiving such poor reviews.
